Gillette Venus Spa Breeze Razor Reviews

Quick shave
Venus "Spa" Breeze is a bit expensive for disposables, but their blades are good for me to use a couple of times. This is like a smaller version of Schick Plus Intuition minus the bulky handle of Schick Plus. The moisturizing shave gel around the blades allows extra smooth shave. While these built-in shave gel bars wear out quickly, it is not bad for disposable razors. If you don't mind paying a little extra, this razor is convenient and ideal for travel and gym. — 2 years, 5 months agoThis review is: Helpful | Not helpful | Inappropriate | 2 of 2 people said helpful

smooth but not the best
I didn't mind the razor with the moisturizing bar but it's not the best razor I've tried. It doesn't last a long as other brands. — 2 years, 4 months agoThis review is: Helpful | Not helpful | Inappropriate | 1 of 1 people said helpful

Spa Breeze
I love the shave gel bars & you get a pretty decent shave from these but i do have some issues with these. First is that they aren't that much better than the disposable version of the Spa Breeze so you might as well just get the disposables & save some cash. Second is that the bars seem to always use up really unevenly which isn't to big of a problem until you get close to finishing the bars because then you have to use something to keep from tugging your skin which is what the bars were supposed to do in the first place! Also, the bars do run out rather quickly if you happen to leave them in a wet shower; this translates to having to change cartridges more often & more spending. Even if your blades aren't dull, the head is just so big and unwieldy and just kind of gets in the way if you need to get into smaller areas. I give the disposable ones a higher rating because they work just as well & don't drain your wallet. — 2 years agoThis review is: Helpful | Not helpful | Inappropriate | 2 of 2 people said helpful

Conveinent
The soapy moisture bar that is attached to the blade is nice and makes shaving quick n easy because you don't need shaving cream, so it saves me lots of time in the morning. The refills are quite expensive tho. — 1 year, 10 months agoThis review is: Helpful | Not helpful | Inappropriate | 1 of 1 people said helpful

Great Razor
Though it is expensive its totally worth it! It gives such a close shave! and the soap like parts on the top and bottom of the razor part help so much so you don't get knicked! I've tried many razors but I love this one!! and the packaging was just so convient! From opening it to storage just overall a great buy! Definetly would recommend this! — 1 year, 11 months agoThis review is: Helpful | Not helpful | Inappropriate | 1 of 1 people said helpful

Never Again
I bought these figuring "hey, I've liked all the other versions of Venus with replaceable blades, why not try these?" But no, these are AWFUL. The shave isn't close at all (it's not even close to being close). Plus the smell bears a strong resemblance to commercial bathroom cleaners. Worst part? Even though I couldn't get a good shave, it DID manage to nick me in several spots (something I only rarely did with any other version of the Venus). Honestly, I may not finish the pack. — 1 year, 12 months agoThis review is: Helpful | Not helpful | Inappropriate | 0 of 1 people said helpful

Like the Shave, smooth and Blade tends to last long
This razor leaves a smooth shave and doesn't irritate. The blade lasts long as well, I do prefer the Mach razor over this, and the blade lasts a little longer — 2 years, 7 months agoThis review is: Helpful | Not helpful | Inappropriate | 0 of 0 people said helpful

Great!
I love this! I'm hearing that the 5 bladed ones are better, this one has 3 blades and I think it does a fine job! The head of the blade bends swirves wich makes it easy to shave areas like the knee around hip bones, etc... And the gel scented bars smell great and are handy so you don't have to use a shaving cream or gel, because it's attatched to the razor! The spa Breeze scent is great but I feel like the bars can melt away awfully easy, so try and keep them out of the stream of water in the shower. Other than that, I love them! — 2 years, 10 months agoThis review is: Helpful | Not helpful | Inappropriate | 4 of 4 people said helpful
