    Colors for women of color

I'm african american and I watched alot of youtube reviews. I t seems as though all the shades for darker women are slightly off. In most of the reviews I watched women had to mix two different shades together to get there desired color. I actually had to mix the one I brought (rich ginger) with my previous foundation. It is a nice product but the colors are a con. — 1 year, 1 month ago

    i love it!

I bought this foundation in ivory, and was very pleased with the color match. Before i tried it, i read reviews on here that complained about the shimmer. Personaly, I can barely see any sparkle whatsoever, but then again i am a glitter fan. It doesn't make my skin oily like many foundations do, it stays on, and it offers great coverage for the occasional blemish i get. The first time i wore it to work, a woman complimented me on my skin while i was ringing her up. Since then, I've had other comments from strangers asking what i use, and that my skin looks like porcelain. I really love this foundation! Of course, it is a little expensive than i'm used to buying at the drugstore, but it's worth every penny! — 1 year, 1 month ago

    Light

I like it and it is too shimmery but it also was a light coverage, so it didn't cover much. — 1 year, 2 months ago

    VERY luminous

I think this foundation overdoes it on the luminous factor. I feel like sparkly fairy when I wear this. I only wear this at night now because of the sparklyness of this makeup. It IS great for well-lit photos, however, because of the luminosity (PhotoReady is right!), but it's not practical for an everyday look. — 1 year, 2 months ago

good but will not buy again

It covers my freckles and blends in but I HATE the GLITTER or whatever it is. You can't wear it out on a daily basis but it does look great for a night out, cocktail party, prom, and other special occasions etc — 1 year, 2 months ago

    not so thrilled .

i bought this thinking i just found the best foundation but when i tried it out i was somewhat disappointed . i like the coverage but it's kind of thick & hard to blend in , and the sparkles really bother me . i also couldn't find the right color . BUT when i mixed this with maybelline fit me foundation , which was too oily alone it was perfect ! — 1 year, 2 months ago

    Good Value

This is definitely one of my top 5 drugstore foundations. I loved the packaging and the pump. The forumation of the foundation however, had microscopic shimmer in it. I'm not sure what the point of that was, but it wasn't noticeable, unless you were in the sun. The coverage is moderate, making this a good everyday foundation. I repurchased once, but that was it. Very much a "meh" foundation, so I continued my search for something better. However, if you budget only allows for drugstore foundations, I would go for this one, as well as Revlon's ColorStay. — 1 year, 4 months ago

    ICK

This foundation was disgusting. I don't even know how anyone can stand to wear this. First of all, it has little sparkles in it. The color selection is pretty much awful. This foundation burnt my face and it looked like an ugly, cakey, and sparkly mess. I didn't see an airbrushing effect at all. My pores looked multiplied and my face looked red. This is absolutely not a foundation for someone with sensitive skin. This foundation was also kind of expensive. It was like 11 or 12 dollars for total junk. — 1 year, 7 months ago

    Great Foundation for Special Events!

On my blog, I always recommend this foundation for events where the wearers will be having pictures taken - in this case, the name is appropriate. This makeup really makes the skin look positively airbrushed in photos. The mica, which some people mistake for glitter, actually deflects light from problem, dark, or sunken areas on the skin, and make your complexion look more even. This foundation is also fragrance free - a big plus for people with sensitive skin. The packaging is unique for a drugstore product - the pump is very convenient and mess-free. The foundation itself is very blendable, and a little goes a long way! My only complaint with this is that with everyday use, this foundation may break out certain people - due to the mica in it. That is why I only recommend it for special events, or as a luminizing foundation over top of problem areas, like undereye circles and around the nose. -- Ask more beauty questions at DrugstorePrincess! — 1 year, 7 months ago

    Works great for Drugstore Brand!

I love this stuff..My complexion is usually red with acne scars and the coverage works great...I do recommend also purchasing the PhotoReady Powder Coverup over the top if you are going for a complete-coverage look (also covers all the shimmers people complain about). Overall its worth the money and covers up most imperfections without looking too cakey. — 1 year, 8 months ago
