Neutrogena SkinClearing Mineral Powder Reviews

Everyday use
I switched from the healthy skin powder to this one. I love this skin clearing mineral powder. It doesnt break me out and keeps me from breaking out. it also keeps me matte all day and keeps my skin undercontrol. I do recommened using it sparingly because its very easy to get cake face but its great at setting foundation (also use a huge fluffy powder brush.) I love it! Old Lady Appeal
It made me look older. I think it had something to do with the fact that I have oily skin and no matter what powder I use I will shine over it. Plus I had a matte finish. I also think the color isn't great for people with uneven skin tones. It wasn't great at all for me. I actually returned it. But it didn't break me out so 5 stars for not bothering my skin — 2 years agoThis review is: Helpful | Not helpful | Inappropriate | 1 of 1 people said helpful

Not Too Bad.
I use BareMinerals makeup, and whenever I wear it I love my skin. However, when I take it off my skin is full of not so much acne, but acne-scars. I was in need of a mineral powder compact that I could use at school, after gym class(makeups worst enemy). I didn't need anything too expensive, or a ton of coverage. I wanted something that could just make my face look refreshed after gym. This product did the trick! It got all the excess oil off my face from running around, and gave my skin a nice matte finish. Although I didn't really like the color, but I could work with it! — 1 year, 10 months agoThis review is: Helpful | Not helpful | Inappropriate | 4 of 5 people said helpful

So far so good
In my teenage years my skin used to be dry but as I have matured into my mid 20’s it has drastically changed and is super oily, ugh. I had major skin freak outs this summer and was sick of using oil blotting papers about once an hour so I decided to use a powder on top of my foundation. I use Neutrogena’s skinclearing foundation so I thought a good inexpensive step would be to try this powder out which is my foundations matching pair. This powder has really made my skin appear less oily but has not given me that powder face look that so often powders do. However, I think this is due to how I apply it. I do not use the powder puffs that come with this product instead I use Real Techniques stippling brush and just apply a small amount of powder and buff it into my skin and voila I have natural looking non oily skin. I do about one touch up mid day and so far it has not made my skin freak out which is a HUGE plus. If you do not use the same line of foundation I could see how you would not like this powder because the colors would not match. — 8 months, 3 weeks agoThis review is: Helpful | Not helpful | Inappropriate | 1 of 3 people said helpful

I love this stuff!!
I haven't worn this long enough to see if it's skin clearing but it won me over by it's mattifying duration. I wore it all day over mac foundation(which is know to make me shiny mid-day) :-(. Well I wore this over it 2 days in a row. I put it on @ 7am & never touched it up again & my face looked so natural and fresh @ 7pm. And let me tell you that my face get's really oily on most days by 1pm! So I'm falling in love w/this stuff! — 1 year agoThis review is: Helpful | Not helpful | Inappropriate | 4 of 4 people said helpful

Manages acne well
I have been using this powder in shade 20- "Natural Ivory" for about three months. I have combination skin and put it on my T-zone, because if I put it n my cheeks, it looks too dry and cakey. It manages my acne really well and makes it less red after only a few uses. The converge is OK, but it I would recommended it if you want to get rid of acne, but not if you want something that has good coverage. — 1 year, 2 months agoThis review is: Helpful | Not helpful | Inappropriate | 2 of 2 people said helpful

HORRIBLE
Doesn't do anything for keeping oil at bay. If anything, it made me more oily. Sits on top of skin and by the end of the day, it was just a greasy oily mess on my face. I ran my finger from temple to temple and there was a gross line where you could see my skin where the makeup just slid off of my face. I was so embarrassed and grossed out. Can't use as a blot powder or foundation or setting powder so I have no idea what the purpose of this ridiculously hideous makeup is. So mad I spent $12 on this crap. — 1 year, 3 months agoThis review is: Helpful | Not helpful | Inappropriate | 1 of 1 people said helpful

love it
i have been using #60 for a couple of years now, and it is wonderful! I also use Obagi and retin A so I dont have much skin issues. I am 46 and this works wonderful, it doesnt make me look old, it stays great, get some spf and it doesnt get oily and it blends very well. Maybe it is the powder or the $ i spend on the skin care but the combo works well for me! — 1 year, 9 months agoThis review is: Helpful | Not helpful | Inappropriate | 2 of 3 people said helpful

Pretty Decent Powder
Does clear the blemishes a bit. The color doesn't look as natural as I'd like it to be. I don't like the applicator it comes with so I use a kabuki brush. — 1 year, 11 months agoThis review is: Helpful | Not helpful | Inappropriate | 1 of 1 people said helpful

Go-To-Powder
This is my go to powder. I use Soft Beige on my skin and it blends in well. Any other brand I've every tried is either to dark or pales out my face. It offers fairly good coverage though not as good as using a foundation and a powder together. I give it 9 stars because the salicylic acid is not strong enough to have any effect on the skin. — 1 year, 11 months agoThis review is: Helpful | Not helpful | Inappropriate | 3 of 3 people said helpful
