Turned My Hair to Straw
I had high hopes for the EverPure line because it does not contain sulfates but this did not live up to my hopes. My roots were really weighed down, my scalp got flaky, and my hair felt like straw. I have normal medium to thick hair and this with the coordinating conditioner did more damage than good to my hair. If you are looking for a sulfate free product, try Wen cleansing conditioners. When used as directed, I have healthier hair now than even when I was young and I am 37 now! — 1 year, 2 months agoThis review is: Helpful | Not helpful | Inappropriate | 0 of 0 people said helpful

very gentle
i like this shampoo overall because it is sulfate free and doesn't make my hair feel like straw when i wash it out. the formula is very creamy and thick, which feels moisturizing. the minty juniper in the shampoo makes for a refreshing wash that only feels tingly the first few times you use it (your scalp gets used to it after a while and the tingles go away). i've been using sulfate free shampoos for over a year now and my hair has become stronger and more resilient to split ends. i go longer without split ends. i would recommend this shampoo to anyone who wants to keep their hair moisturized, shiny and healthy or anyone who is trying to rehabilitate damaged hair. and for the price it isn't bad, especially since ULTA and CVS usually have deals like buy one get one half off. — 1 year, 3 months agoThis review is: Helpful | Not helpful | Inappropriate | 4 of 4 people said helpful

Great Product
The Rosemary Juniper version of this product left my hair very moisturized and shiny but with lots of volume. I could really tell a difference with the sulfate free version of the product. However, the Rosemary Mint version left my scalp with an unpleasant tingling. This is a great product if you get it in the right scent. — 1 year, 7 months agoThis review is: Helpful | Not helpful | Inappropriate | 1 of 1 people said helpful

Good for Those With Breakage Issues
This product contains Keratin, which may cause hair to feel "rough or dry", if the user doesn't really need the Keratin for strengthening. The Ever line has several different product lines, by need, so when selecting one, make sure you are buying the right product for your hair type and for your hair's needs. I have very long, very curly hair that is fine in texture but I have a lot of it. I've been using the EverCreme cleansing conditioner, and I do like it, but it can build up on the hair and weigh it down. I wanted something to alternate with the cleansing conditioner and also to give my breakage prone hair some added strength. I picked this one and for my needs, this is pretty good. The moisture seems to counteract the drying effect of the Keratin and doesn't weigh my hair down. It feels soft and silky and I have less hair going down the drain now. LOL Personally, I like the scent of this product. However, the scents of all the Ever line products tend to be pretty strong so smell them first, to make sure you are okay with the scent. — 6 months agoThis review is: Helpful | Not helpful | Inappropriate | 0 of 1 people said helpful

Love!
I love this when i just dyed my hair it is so gentle and gets rid of the dyed smell. it also hydrates my scalp really well. it does not get rid of much residue though, do not use it on heavily styled and producted hair — 5 months agoThis review is: Helpful | Not helpful | Inappropriate | 0 of 0 people said helpful

Sulfate Free!
I have medium-fine long hair and I thought this shampoo would hydrate and strengthen my hair enough to help fight frizz and breakage. It definitely helped, I only bought the shampoo, but that alone instantly left my hair feeling smoother, softer and more hydrated. One of few inexpensive sulfate-free shampoos out there, it leaves a refreshing clean feeling. I don't find the scent too strong at all, it's very nice, and my boyfriend likes the rosemary smell too. I imagine the conditioner only adds to this result, but haven't tried it. — 4 months agoThis review is: Helpful | Not helpful | Inappropriate | 0 of 0 people said helpful

Smells to strong.
I loved the lather but the fragrance was way too strong. I had to rewash my hair to get rid of the smell that gave me a headache. Got a refund on the product. Get rid of the strong fragrance and I might buy it then. — 1 year, 3 months agoThis review is: Helpful | Not helpful | Inappropriate | 1 of 1 people said helpful

About one year ago I was ill and due to medication my hair had fallen out. I tried this shampoo and the conditioner and my hair has never been stronger and healthier. Sulfate-free!!!
This is my first time using a shampoo from Loreal. The Hydrating shampoo from the Everstrong line worked well for my hair. The smell was rejuvenating, but my scalp tingly. I guess it's because of the juniper, but I heard that it was good for hair growth. I guess that's a good thing. I would buy this again. — 1 year, 3 months agoThis review is: Helpful | Not helpful | Inappropriate | 0 of 0 people said helpful
