    It's a 'Maybe'

I have used JolieMD for almost a year, consistently I would say about 6 - 7 months. Please note that I used this in conjunction with antibiotic pills during those months. It did help to clear up my adult acne and suppressed breakouts to the point where I can none (!!). It took a while, but it certainly smoothed out my skin and evened out my skin tone. I stopped taking the antibiotics 4 months ...read moreago (I was tired of relying on pills to help clear up my skin) and started up using JolieMD again for about 3 weeks now. Stopping the antibiotics has caused me to get breakouts again. It really hasn't made a difference, but my skin could be re-adjusting to the product. JolieMD comes in two bottles: Step 1. Softening Serum and Step 2. Enlightening Lotion. The Softening Serum may take some getting used to in the beginning as it can sting a little. I really like the Enlightening Lotion because it eased the stinging if any and it smelled really nice (citrus-y). The packaging is crazy beautiful. The box is mirrored-like and looks super fab. The bottles themselves are pieces on their own. I normally hide my beauty products in the cabinets, but these I leave out on display 'cause they're just too pretty to hide. A lot of thought was definitely put into the packaging and presentation. With that being said, the price tag is a bit steep--I mean, $96. Yikes. But once you're familiar with how much to apply on your skin, the bottles can last you for about 3 months (tip: I use 2 pumps of the Softening Serum and 1 pump of the Enlightening Lotion). I recall one review on JolieMD saying that one downside was that you couldn't tell how much product was left. Well I found a solution to that and it was by accident. I had dropped one of the bottles and the top part came off, exposing the pump with in. There you can see how much product you have left. So use your nail or a knife to pop the top off and pull out the pump. And don't worry, the pump and bottle can easily snap back into place. In conclusion, I'm going to finish the set I have and see what the results are. I will hopefully post an update for all you on here!
