Cakey and Flakey
I normally stick to tinted moisturizers because I like the sheer coverage. I bought this foundation thinking it would be "clean" and not too heavy. I was wrong. The color was unforgiving...even when I mixed it with a lighter foundation I looked orange and had the infamous foundation line around my jaw. Not only that, but it was cakey and did not work well with my oily acne prone skin. Pretty Decent
I have sensitve, combination skin. Coverage is great just enough. I use the lightest color, which are usually very powdery, but this is just fine. Just set with a powder and it will last for a while. And for 5 bucks who could beat the price!! Horrible.Horrible.Horibble.
As i sit here and read these reviews about this foundation. I shake my head in shock. I've tried a lot of foundation and this by far is the WORST. It makes me cringe everytime i think about it. The quality is just awful. Everything about it is awful. The way it looks, changes color the way it feels. Very low quality. I guess its alright for a very cheap natural look. But if you looking for a nice finish this isnt it. I can see it on my local drugstore shelfs everytime i go there sitting there literally changing colors( usually orange) in un opended bottles! Useless!
Judging by the other reviews, I'm in the minority here. I hate this foundation! They should just re-package this as a tinted moisturizer because that what it looks like on me. My skin is pretty normal, but I bought the oil-free version because I don't like the dewey look. Anyway, this foundation barely evens out my skin tone and hardly covers any flaws. Love it!
I have used this makeup for a couple years now. It has great coverage, doesn't make my face look an unnatural shaded color. It also doesn't feel thick like i'm painting on the makeup. I don't like this foundationvery much, it is very orangy and dark, my face loooks very wired after i put this on. The shade doesn't match my skin. I don't like the smell either, some people probably like that smell but i think it smells too strong. What to do if your brand and color is out of stock......
Well don't grab a bottle of Covergirl. I don't know what it is but I really can't stand it. I have 2 brand new bottles in my summer shades that I tried and threw it in the drawer as a back up. But I never will let myself run out and have to revert to my back up. One thing I can't stand is the smell. It doesn't actually stink but it has a fragrance to it that I just can't stand and being that it's all over my face, my nose can't escape the aromoa. Base make up
I have been using Covergirl clean make up since I was a teenager. As a matter of fact, that is why I began using it to begin with. It stills works today and I am no longer a teenager.
