My First Mask
I first used this product when I was around 10 years old. My older cousin slathered this on my face and it felt so cool and refreshing! We put cucumbers over our eyes and gossiped until this mask glued our mouths shut. The tube is easy to squeeze and open and close which is good because the gel is very sticky and tends to make a mess. Peeling it off does not hurt as long as you do not get your hair caught in it! Your face feels smoother and has a little flush and glow to it. Refreshing
The Freeman Beauty Cucumber Facial Peel-Off Mask is designed to clarify and renew your skin. It is made with natural botanical ingredients such as cucumber extracts, and it is perfect for normal to combination skin. The product that I have comes in a travel size packet of .5 Fl oz.; and surprisingly there is enough product for 3 uses. Although the travel size is very convenient when on the go, I would prefer the 6 Fl oz. full size container at home for easier storage! The full size product retails for $3.99 and it is such a bargain because a little product does go a long way, so I can only imagine how long a 6 Fl. oz container will last! The cucumber scent is very noticeable upon opening up the package, it is very lovely and soft. I really love the smell because it lingers throughout the entire process, which makes the mask application feel very spa-like and relaxing! The mask itself is made up of a very thick gel consistency, in fact it is very sticky yet it is very smooth to the touch as well. Once you apply this mask evenly onto your skin, it sets within a few minutes, in fact immediately it is very difficult to make any facial expressions whatsoever; you will feel this way for about 5-7 minutes since this is how long it takes to fully dry. When peeling the mask, it felt like all my dead skins cells were coming off with it, which is fabulous! I did have a few pieces here and there so I just washed my face to remove everything, in fact in the directions it does state to rinse with warm water to remove any leftover pieces. Immediately after removing this mask, my face did feel very soft and super clean, and that's what I love about all the Freeman Beauty masks, they all leave a super clean feeling on your face! Overall this mask has helped the appearance of my skin, it no longer looks and feels dull, it is very smooth, silky and refreshed. fun and refreshing
I used the mask as instructed, starting with a clean face, then applying it evenly over my whole face avoiding my eyes, nostrals, and mouth. After the low end time (5 mins) my mask was still not set so I waited for the upper limit (10mins) I got half way through removing the peel and found that I still had some wet spots. That was a disappointment – but I really like what I saw. (The next time I gave it 15 minutes and it was all set) My skin felt super soft and fresh immediately after using it, and the next morning my skin still felt more conditioned and happier. At a $4.00 price point this is definitely something I would recommend. Some people have reported having extra break outs as a result of using it, so as with any product, you may want to swatch the product somewhere inconspicuous just in case you have a reaction. No Complaints
I bought this peel-off mask after reading the reviews of the 'other' Freeman peel-off mask thinking this was the correct one. When I got home and checked, I was disappointed that this was the one with less than stellar reviews, but being the tight wad that I am, I decided to keep it and try it. I found the mask pleasant smelling - not strong or chemical(y). It went on smooth and even. I applied it in long circular motions. I didn't time it, however it was the time it took to change the sheets and put a new duvet on the comforter. It peeled off easily and evenly. It didn not feel like my skin was pulling off with it. The after affects were that my skin was SUPER soft!! I didn't apply my nightly ROC treatments as I felt that might be too much... I just don't know. So I decided to err on the side of caution and just apply Burt's Bee's serum. I will definately use this product as part of my weekly routine. **TIP - It is nearly impossible to avoid hair or eyebrows when applying a peel-off mask. This product is AMAZING. i LOVE it!. it smells just like cucumbers. one thng about it is that it's pretty sticky and can get messy but thats the only real problem. Another thing about it is that when u take the mask off, ur face really does look renewed and feel soft. all u have to do is leave on for 15-20 minutes. Too funny to remove
I didn't liked the texture and applying that product on my face because it was kind of a glue texture. Isn't smell good, but isn't smelling bad. That mask made my skin feel clean and it was refreshing. It worth 3$, the pros are that its cheap, making my skin soft. The con is that it doesn't remove oil and dirt completely. But you know?
