waste of money!
I thought this cream shadow stick would look as beautiful as it does in the advertisements. Unfortunately, this fell short! It requires multiple layers to get the pigment and it wears off and creases easily. Save your money and invest in some high pigmented shadows! — 10 months, 4 weeks agoThis review is: Helpful | Not helpful | Inappropriate | 0 of 0 people said helpful

Now you see it...
...now you don't. It seems like such a good idea! I bought this in Purple Plume and was so excited to work a purple smoky eye. Sadly, the color hardly shows up. There's really no smokiness to enjoy. What little color there is fades quickly. I always use primer (Urban Decay) and it didn't help this color at all. Points for effort, but CG needs to drop this product or completely redesign it. — 2 years agoThis review is: Helpful | Not helpful | Inappropriate | 0 of 0 people said helpful

Great idea, Bad execution
The idea of the applicator is great, however how does creamy eyeshadow not crease, fade and smudge? — 1 year, 10 months agoThis review is: Helpful | Not helpful | Inappropriate | 0 of 0 people said helpful

Fast fading and creasing with a cheap design
This looks and sounds like a good concept but looks can be deceiving. The first time I used this product the "smoky" color part broke at the base and fell out. Trust me I did not use any force when applying the product nor did I twist it out too far. The design is cheap. The application therefore was not easy. It was simple enough to blend with my fingers but that made no difference...the staying power of this eyeshadow is non-existent. It faded and creased after one hour. Even using an eyelid primer had no effect. As anyone could guess, you CANNOT use a light dusting of powder to keep it set. The shadow will only drag and clump over top of it. The only solution is to tote the product along with you for touch-ups all day but who wants that? It's a better idea to go buy a good powder smoky eyes kit that will last. This is a waste of money and time. It's not worth it at all. Covergirl hit rock bottom on this item. — 2 years, 2 months agoThis review is: Helpful | Not helpful | Inappropriate | 7 of 7 people said helpful

easy to apply but not long lasting
I loved how easy it was to apply this. just simply swipe on your lids according to the easy-to-follow directions. However, this doesn't last long. After only a few hours, it had gathered in my eyelid creases. I'm returning this to the store. — 2 years, 8 months agoThis review is: Helpful | Not helpful | Inappropriate | 0 of 0 people said helpful

Wasn't too happy
I was expecting a lot more from this product. The colors are beautiful, but they smear so easily. You need to use some sort of primer to set the colors first. If you don't the colors crease and after a few hours it looks like your not even wearing eyeshadow. — 3 years, 3 months agoThis review is: Helpful | Not helpful | Inappropriate | 2 of 2 people said helpful

An impulse buy I regretted
I bought this because I had a Walgreen’s coupon for CoverGirl that was about to expire, and this looked intriguing. It quickly ended up in the trash. The lid color (bronze) looked great on, but it was difficult to apply, and then smeared and creased like crazy. And then to add insult to injury, within a couple weeks of buying it one of the makeup sticks fell out of the tube altogether and landed on the bathroom floor. That’s when it went into the trash. — 4 months, 1 week agoThis review is: Helpful | Not helpful | Inappropriate | 0 of 0 people said helpful

not what i expected
These were too creamy, so they creased a lot. Even with primer and blending well, it still creased. Also its kind of cheaply packaged because one broke right as i opened it. — 1 year, 8 months agoThis review is: Helpful | Not helpful | Inappropriate | 0 of 0 people said helpful

Smudgy, Soft...But Looks Good All Day
i was looking for an eyeshadow that wouldn't break (stick is great) and wouldn't look like a black shadow on my eyes (makes them look smaller) but would give me the perfect smoky eye...so I got the black/white stick. I LOVE the way it looks on...glides on which easy, smudges around perfectly and the more it smudged all day the better it looked. I got countless compliments on this. So why the somewhat low rating? The caps on the stick came off too easily in my bag and smeared all over everything. Besides that it's a very soft stick so it seemed to melt/smear and never come off...I bought this stick three time because I loved it so much, but each time the caps came off or the shadow just fell out...not very sturdy. If you can be careful with this, then go for it for the look and keep it in your bathroom not your bag. Overall, I love the look but hate that it's not so portable and would rather carry my little pots and risk breakage. — 1 month, 3 weeks agoThis review is: Helpful | Not helpful | Inappropriate | 0 of 0 people said helpful

Like the concept, but ugh.
Great concept, really, but CoverGirl just did not pull it off for me. The goal of this was to not have to use anything but this for eyeshadow. Unfortunately, I found myself blending this with a brush, q-tip, anything to make it look good. The rounded edge just gave me a blob of color that I HAD to blend out. The pointed tip... Had to blend that in because I either got a harsh line or another color block. In addition, it creased and melted out of place. Not recommended. — 2 years, 1 month agoThis review is: Helpful | Not helpful | Inappropriate | 0 of 0 people said helpful
