CoverGirl SmokyShadowBlast Reviews

No thanks
It smudged like crazy and melted very fast. Even wearing eye-lid primer it would crease like crazy. I didn't care for the colors and the application wasn't as convenient as I hoped. — 2 years, 2 months agoThis review is: Helpful | Not helpful | Inappropriate | 4 of 4 people said helpful

Terrible!
The CoverGirl Smoky Shadow Blast is terrible. It smudges really bad and does not last. Don't waste your money. — 1 year, 2 months agoThis review is: Helpful | Not helpful | Inappropriate | 1 of 2 people said helpful

HORRID!!! Okay to start off; the consept of this product is great. It is portable, and easy to apply. But in all reality it fell short of anything I would ever consider putting on my face. When this product first came out, I was sooooo happy. I purchased multiple shades; the white/black, the purple/grey, and the brown/green. The first day I tried the brown/green shade out, It only lasted a couple hours! And, that was after I discovered that while the formula is creamy and easy to apply, it won't actually dry. The second day I tried the black/white shade (and I put on eye primer first). It still didn't work, I had a hug black crease going on by lunch time. The third day I tried the purple/grey shade (with eye primer) but I only applied a very small amount of the grey shade only. That worked better, but it still crease really bad by about 2:00pm. So, in my opinion this is NOT a good product at all. — 1 year, 9 months agoThis review is: Helpful | Not helpful | Inappropriate | 6 of 12 people said helpful

I liked this eyeshadow
I like creamy eyeshadows so I was excited about this. I also am afraid of doing a smoky eye so I found this useful in helping me achieve it but it didn't quite give me the smoky eye I expected. — 2 years, 5 months agoThis review is: Helpful | Not helpful | Inappropriate | 3 of 4 people said helpful

not the best
This product is less than stellar, to say the least. I received it as part of a kit. I like the colors and the concept, but when used alone it doesn't last. Even when used with primer, it still creases. I tend to use it when I am in a hurry - I swipe it on and then add a light dusting of powder over the top. That certainly extends the life of it. It is not something, however, I would buy again. — 1 year, 10 months agoThis review is: Helpful | Not helpful | Inappropriate | 0 of 1 people said helpful

Did not work for me either...
I got the Tempest Blue smoky shadowblast. I like the concept, the soft and creamy texture, and the price. The dual ended stick is very convenient. Now the negative parts. It was not easy to blend together without rubbing the shadow off completely. The two shades are very similar to each other, therefore, instead of smoky look, my eyes look like I have only one color eye shadow. Additionally, the color does not stay long at all. I still think this idea is good, the product needs more adjustments and even a complete change in its formula. I may try another one which comes with two different shades, not two similar shades in one stick, but having read many reviews here, it has to be on sale! — 2 years, 6 months agoThis review is: Helpful | Not helpful | Inappropriate | 3 of 4 people said helpful

Not Good!
I purchased one of these thinking it looked fun and easy and they have some really excellent color options. Unfortunately, while the color was very pretty, getting the color onto my skin was next to impossible. The shadow stick was very hard and it actually irritated my eyelid pretty badly when I attempted to apply. I gave it two or three chances (trying different methods to soften the product so it would go on smoothly and painlessly) before I finally gave up and threw it away. I don't think I've tried ANYTHING from Cover Girl since. I'd rather spend more for a higher quality product! — 1 year, 4 months agoThis review is: Helpful | Not helpful | Inappropriate | 0 of 0 people said helpful

Ew
This creamy shadow is TOO creamy. It seems to never dry. The pen applicator is very awkward to use. It is a good price but a very low quality product. — 2 years, 6 months agoThis review is: Helpful | Not helpful | Inappropriate | 1 of 1 people said helpful

Smudgy Shadow Blast should be he name for this
When I first tried to apply this I found application to be awkward as it was smudging and creasing this crazy and looked extremely cakey. After rying to perfect application of this for the forth time the pointy side of the dual ended stick snapped right off! I wasn't happy because I'd spent $10 on this and $5 of it had just broken off. If you proceded to repetetivly call Procter & Gamble they will eventually mail you a refund. — 2 years, 1 month agoThis review is: Helpful | Not helpful | Inappropriate | 1 of 1 people said helpful
