Unique Formula for Various Looks

In the early 2000's, I shelled out quite a lot of money for Hard Candy eye shadow quads. The colors were unique, beautifully complementary, and lasted a long time. Last week while shopping I picked up a few baked shadows. In general, I like baked eye shadows. I swipe them on dry for a subtle but wide-awake look; for a more bold, vivacious look, I love to play with them wet. These are high-quality shadows at a very reasonable price.

An okay product.

I wanted to try out MAC's baked shadows really bad, but figured I'd try a cheaper dupe instead. I ended up buying two for myself, and one for a friend over the past year or so. Baked shadows take a little more work than regular shadows--dry they can be a bit sheer, and wet they can be fairly metallic. The packaging is cute and sturdy, and they're affordable. They have an okay length of wear. I wouldn't say they're worse than high-end baked shadows, but they're just okay overall.

wet wet wet

I just bought this after months of debating every time I looked at it, I have to say I tried it dry and wasn't totally blown away, its just a normal shadow dry... but wet? Watch out cause not only do you get the full benifet of the powder but it spreads on so well, unbelievable for the price, I got the colour displayed on the page and the blue is beautiful, just what I was looking for. Bravo Hard Candy!

great when wet

these eyeshadows come in a lot of fun colors. they are extremely vibrant if used wet, and decent when used dry. for such a cheap price, i am very impressed.

break up

i have this shadow in break up, a combo between a sparkly olive green and an off white. i love the white one for my brow bone. these shadows have great shimmer to them, and are a great price.

Lovely!

I love these! They are so pretty and come in so many colors. The color is payoff is wonderful when you apply it wet or over a primer. Dry, they give a nice sheer wash.

Letdown

I bought a light pink and white combo eyeshadow and it did not show up on my skin AT ALL. The color payoff was ZERO.

good for money

These shadows have surprisingly good pigmentation. LIke other ladies have said they are even better when wet. I want to pick up a few more of these, the colors are very pretty.
