EOS Organic Lip Balm Smooth Sphere Reviews

Naturally Beuatiful Lips
My boyfriend isn't very big on lipgloss or lipstick, so I'm a lip balm junkie. These are my absolute favourite lip balms. The packaging is so cute and though some might think it to be bulky it's great to throw in a purse because you can find it so easily. I find it moisturizes my lips exceptionally during the day and overnight. These all have a wonderfull smell and glide on very soft and smooth. I hate using products that contain lots of parabens and chemicals and these are an amazing life saver! I can't wait to try out some of the other products EOS offers. — 1 year, 4 months agoThis review is: Helpful | Not helpful | Inappropriate | 5 of 5 people said helpful

Great Lip Balm
I really love this lip balm because the packaging is so easy to take with you and fun to apply. The lip balm adds moisture to my lips and keeps them from getting dry. It doesn't feel greasy or heavy and is easy to travel with. — 2 years, 7 months agoThis review is: Helpful | Not helpful | Inappropriate | 11 of 12 people said helpful

Not long lasting
I am a lip balm junkie and was attracted to the different packaging and the organic ingredients. However, the package turned out to be incredibly bulky and impractical for lip balm. The smell was subtle and pleasant; the shine was natural. I admit that I am very particular about my balms and this one didn't take the cake. For me, I have to constantly reapply. It provides very little moisture, even when I go over my mouth again and again. — 9 months, 3 weeks agoThis review is: Helpful | Not helpful | Inappropriate | 1 of 5 people said helpful

Okay but not great
I have tried this in Strawberry Sorbet and Sweet Mint. Both are delicious. Moisturizing ability is a bit above average but does require reapplying. The shape of the container doesn't bother me, but as they actual balm gets worn down and the sphere turns flat, it does get significantly more awkward to apply. I don't regret buying these, but they haven't converted me. — 10 months, 3 weeks agoThis review is: Helpful | Not helpful | Inappropriate | 1 of 5 people said helpful

Funny design, serious lip help
I constantly suffer from chapped lips and have spent way too much money looking for a product that works without tasting gross, having a funky smell, simply not working, or having a cap that refuses to stay on. This product really delivers on healing my lips without stinging, smelling, or tasting gross. I really like the design of this balm. It's harder than most but that keeps too much product from being applied and wasted. It's much larger than most but this means I can just do a single swipe or two across my lips (mouth closed) and be done. The top also screws on and actually clicks when it is fully closed, so I no longer have to worry about lip balm or chapstick getting all over my purse (which is really hard to clean up, btw!) or getting dirty because the cap/top would not stay on or the squeeze tube sprung a leak. The scent is really mild and as for taste I would have to say little to none, even with the mint variety. I like that it is organic and still has a pretty average cost around $3.00. The previous poster who mentioned these for stocking stuffers was right - younger kids LOVE these things, even the boys since they don't look like "girly" products (and they come in blue and green). And the best part is that they don't get lost in my purse like most little tubes of balm do. — 3 years, 3 months agoThis review is: Helpful | Not helpful | Inappropriate | 11 of 11 people said helpful

Not the Very Best
The main seller for this lip balm is the packaging, hands down. In terms of application, it actually is quite a means more convenient to apply because of its fat and chubby shape than stick lip balms. However, I find that this does nothing to moisturize my lips nor keep them moisturized. I would go as far to say as it dries my lips out! This balm does wonders under lipstick or other clingy lip colors to smooth out any lines at the beginning of the day, but if let to their own devices on bare lips, I get loads of unexpected flakes and a slightly chapped feeling by the end of the day. I say unexpected because this balm -feels- moisturizing with its slick application! Slick lip balm should mean soft lips, right? Sadly, not the case here. In reality, this balm really just sits on top of my skin and transfers none of its moisture to my lips. Apart from moisture, the balm is also a little hard to apply at first. It took multiple swipes to feel like any balm was reach my lips at all, but that problem was quickly fixed by a few minutes of sitting in my pocket to soften up. I very much wanted this balm to work wonders like all the reviews have said it would. It is free of loads of strange chemicals such parabens and petrolatum (plastic), it smells delicious, it has a nice sweet taste and also comes in loads of different flavors. It is nice to try, but it is not a balm worth repurchasing, especially with the upcoming chapped-lips weather! — 6 months, 1 week agoThis review is: Helpful | Not helpful | Inappropriate | 1 of 3 people said helpful

Love this lip balm!!!
I have been using this lip balm line for over a year now and I have to say that my lips love this stuff. I also have tried several other brands of lip balms as I suffer from dry lips and sometimes have the horrible habit of biting them…eeeek! I have tried 4 flavors including the SPF Lemon flavor. I love this stuff so much that when there was a sale I purchased every flavor they had available to try. I keep one in my purse, one next to my bed and one on my desk at work. First I must say that the non SPF flavors are very moisturizing and leave lips very soft without any harsh chemicals or greasy residue. Additionally I can use the lip balm on my lips immediately after exfoliating and it works wonders without any negative side affects. Of the flavors I have tried I must say that all of the scents are very pleasant and not overwhelming by any means. The SPF version is not as moisturizing but I like it on top of my lips as protection from the sun. I hope they come with a non SPF version of the Lemon flavor. I definitely prefer the non SPF versions better because they absorb a little differently than the SPF lip balm. I have all of my friends addicted to this now and they all agree that it is a great product! Additionally the little cute shape has always been an ice breaker anywhere I go. When I pull it out in restaurants or stores someone always wonders what it is or they are also EOS lip balm users and rave about how much they love it too. If you haven’t tried it I strongly encourage you go out to Walgreens or Target and make that purchase. You won’t regret it. — 9 months, 2 weeks agoThis review is: Helpful | Not helpful | Inappropriate | 4 of 4 people said helpful

Wasn't for me
I decided to wait awhile to write this review because so many others have loved this product. I have heard nothing but good things about this product so I was really excited to try it out. To start off I love the packaging, The cute little egg shape is something that I always get asked about. My friends and I love the way it looks. Its a little bulky if you carry your balms in your pocket but perfect for your purse. If you are like me and your purse is a bottomless pit you will easily be able to find it because of its shape. That is basically where my love for this product ends. I have the pink one, the one in the picute. Not sure what the flavor is.. I think dragonfruit or summerfruit. Well I really didn't like the scent. When I put it on I kept on asking if the litter box needed to be changed. All I could smell was a cat urine like smell. After sometime I figured out it was the balm. I don't know if I got a bad batch but this is just my honest opinion. I didn't like the balm itself either. It just sat on my lips. It never really soaked in and it left a weird film. If I put anything on top like a lipstick it would look horrible. After reading all the good reviews I think I might have bought a bad one. I really wanted to love it. I might buy another just to check if they are all like this. I definitely won't get the pink one though. Definitely on the fence about this.. I'll have to try a second before I decide if I like this product. — 1 year, 1 month agoThis review is: Helpful | Not helpful | Inappropriate | 6 of 9 people said helpful
