Splendid Spheres of Refreshing Comfort!
READ CAREFULLY: I have secret but POWERFUL information which will help you in choosing beauty products wisely. Several years ago, my wonderful mother had nine heart attacks in one night and another the following day. After that came emergency quadruple-bypass surgery, which she survived very well. The big problem? She was in a rehab center, and the aids let an open wound where they removed part of an artery uncovered and it became infected. She had to have extensive plastic surgery. I recall driving her to the plastic surgeon's office often for check-ups after he repaired the wound. I wouldn't read the magazines--I would wander around the deluxe facility, staring at a copious number of shelves all stacked with sparkling, beckoning tubs and bottles of creams meant to help skin heal and look good. One day I asked the surgeon which products he favored over the others for complexion and body care in general. He candidly whispered to me, "Forget about buying anything here. I sell them because people specifically ask for them. If you want to treat your skin well, turn to Shea and Cocoa Butters." I'll never forget those words . . . Shea and Cocoa Butters! Shea Butter is just one ingredient in the EOS (Evolution of Smooth) Lip Balms found in drugstores everywhere. Other ingredients--depending on which tempting version you choose--include Vitamin E, pure Beeswax, Coconut Oil, and Jojoba Seed Oil to sooth, smooth, and heal. I love the container. The flat end enables it to stay put on the nightstand next to our bed (also known as an "apothecary shelf"), but it's simply fun to play with (consider it a small lip balm/stress-relieving ball). There is never an aggravating tacky feel--it smooths on with extreme ease. I also love the different varieties. I first tried "Honeysuckle Honeydew," "Sweet Mint," and "Pomegranate Raspberry." My husband bought me "Summer Fruit," and I accidentally(!) happened to see a charming duo in "Easter/Spring" which will be appearing in my Easter basket. The preparation is not heavy enough for severely dry lips--I layer Blistex, Carmex, and Chapstick when my lips are truly chapped and split from cold weather or dry heat. But it works well enough to keep your pout kissably soft. The scents are absolutely delightful; I can't get enough! — 2 months, 1 week agoThis review is: Helpful | Not helpful | Inappropriate | 5 of 7 people said helpful

So far so good
I've been intrigued with these for sometime and recently made the purchase. I like that it's a light flavor that doesn't taste too mediciney. It does make my lips soft and I like how it's easy to apply on my lips. I wish it was a little bit creamier like lypsyl, but the package is still new, so maybe. — 2 years, 2 months agoThis review is: Helpful | Not helpful | Inappropriate | 9 of 10 people said helpful

EOS ORGANIC LIP BALM - SMOOTH SPHERE
I own every flavor of the EOS lip balms, and the honeydew one is one of my favorites in terms of scent. I absolutely love the packaging and the shape of the lip balm. The ball lets you swipe the product over both lips at the same time. What would make the packaging even more convenient is if they kept the same shape but made it into a flip top so that you don't have to take that extra step to unscrew/screw the top and worry about dropping it. As much as I love the sheer novelty of EOS lip balms, it really doesn't do a great job in moisturizing very dry lips. I find myself having to reapply a lot. But I keep using these things just because they're so darn cute and smell so darn good. I really hope the company will consider making improvements. First of all, Honeysuckle Honeydew is my favorite flavor of the three eos smooth spheres I own (I also have the Sweet Mint and Strawberry Sorbet). I can see why people would say it feels a little waxy, but what I don't understand is what they would think a lip balm would feel like if it wasn't waxy... this feels the same on my lips as any other lip balm, and it feels great!!! This isn't extremely mousturizing, I use plain boring chapstick for that. ;) But when my lips aren't in need of extreme mousture, these eos smooth spheres are great and smell delicious! Plus, what cute packaging. That's my favorite part. :) I reccomend this! Definitely! It's not a lip healer, but does soften my lips. Perfect for just wearing when you don't want to wear lip gloss/lipstick. This taste and smells so delicious! The container itself is super cute and very unqiue. I will definitely be purchasing this again. I thought this was a cute product and brought it even though it wasn't on sale at CVS. I love the scent of honeydew and it has a pleasant sweet taste. But I don't find this lip balm moisturizing at all - and it's extremely waxy so it's no good under lipsticks. — 1 year, 1 month agoThis review is: Helpful | Not helpful | Inappropriate | 12 of 14 people said helpful

Just alright... too bulky
The packaging is a bit bulky compared to the usual lip balm tube. Applying it is a little weird because of the shape. The product itself isn't very soft, and seems to only be average in terms of moisturizing. I don't think I would buy this again. — 2 years, 5 months agoThis review is: Helpful | Not helpful | Inappropriate | 7 of 21 people said helpful

love
The EOS balm is organic, so I know it will never irritate my lips. The packaging is super adorable! The formula is creamy and thick on my lips, but I find that it absorbs quickly. The scents are refreshing, but do not stay on lips. This balm is quite moisturizing and I tend to apply it often because its so fun! The large size makes it easy to apply on both lips with just one swipe. I love this lip balm! It's very moisturizing and smoothing! — 2 years, 5 months agoThis review is: Helpful | Not helpful | Inappropriate | 21 of 21 people said helpful

EOS Lip Balm Smooth Sphere
I recently tried the EOS (Evolution of Smooth) Lip Balm Smooth Spheres. I love these lip balms. The shape is great and ideal for carrying around in your purse. The spheres are smooth to the touch and the lip balm is soothing on your lips. They smell great and if you happen to lick your lips they have a good taste as well. You can set the spheres on your vanity counter because they have a flat bottom so they won't roll away. I've tried three flavors, Summer Fruit, Lemon Drop and Strawberry Sorbet. The tops twist off and the shape of the balm allows you to easily smooth the product onto your lips. They are all paraben, patroleum, phthalate and gluten free and they all contain Vitamin E, Jojoba oil and Shea Butter for making your lips smooth without the harmful chemicals. There are other flavors as well. They also have the flavors Passion Fruit, Sweet Mint, Honeysuckle Honeydew and Medicated Tangerine. The Lemon Drop flavor (in the yellow sphere) contains an SPF 15 which is great for using when you are outdoors. The flavor is 100% natural and is also PABA free. It contains a broad spectrum of UVA/UVB protection and glides on clear, not chalky in color or feel like some lip balms that contain SPF. The Summer Fruit flavor comes in a red sphere and is 95% organic and 100% natural. It is sweet scented and is also clear on the lips. The Strawberry Sorbet flavor comes in a pink sphere and is also 95% organic and 100% natural. It has a great strawberry taste so if you love strawberries, this is one you will have to try. In October during Breast Cancer Awareness month the company EOS donated 5% of their retail proceeds from the sale of Strawberry Sorbet to the cause. This is a great gift to give someone who uses lip balms because they will like the flavors and the style. It's very unique and easy to carry around. The price is reasonable at $3.29 per sphere. I've also seen them sold in packages as groups and you can find some on sale this time of year as well. They can be purchased at Walgreens, Target and Ulta stores and on the EOS website. — 1 year, 2 months agoThis review is: Helpful | Not helpful | Inappropriate | 8 of 9 people said helpful

Cute and Quick
I have a couple of these lip spheres and they are great! The design is super cute and very purse/desk friendly. These lip balms are unique because they are large enough to go over both your top and bottom lip which is great for when you want quick relief from chapped lips. The flavors of these are fruity and smell pleasant but have no taste. I personally dislike when lip products have any kind of taste because it taints my drinks so smell without taste is a big plus for me. The lip balm lasts for a good amount of time on my lips, but nothing extraordinary. I don't think these do much by way of penetrating the moisture into your lips but they are still good at preventing chapped lips. — 7 months, 2 weeks agoThis review is: Helpful | Not helpful | Inappropriate | 4 of 4 people said helpful

Love this!
This stuff taste really yummy which is bad because then I lick it off and have to reapply. It makes my lips really smooth and moisturizes great. I love the applicator and think this works considerable better than burt's bees especially when my lips are cracking. — 1 year, 1 month agoThis review is: Helpful | Not helpful | Inappropriate | 3 of 3 people said helpful

Summer Fruit
I am in LOVE with this lip balm! The packaging is super cute and makes it easy to find in your bag when in a hurry. The top will NEVER pop off in your bag and get all over the place with this awesome design. The balm itself is very emollient & leaves my lips feeling moisturized for a long time after use. EOS is very tasty I have it in Summer Fruit & it tastes like fruit punch so try not to lick it all off your lips! I am definitely going to buy more of these when mine runs out. Perhaps in Lemon or Honeysuckle Melon....mmmm — 2 years, 3 months agoThis review is: Helpful | Not helpful | Inappropriate | 9 of 9 people said helpful
