Splendid Spheres of Refreshing Comfort!
READ CAREFULLY: I have secret but POWERFUL information which will help you in choosing beauty products wisely. Several years ago, my wonderful mother had nine heart attacks in one night and another the following day. After that came emergency quadruple-bypass surgery, which she survived very well. The big problem? She was in a rehab center, and the aids let an open wound where they removed part of an artery uncovered and it became infected. She had to have extensive plastic surgery. I recall driving her to the plastic surgeon's office often for check-ups after he repaired the wound. I wouldn't read the magazines--I would wander around the deluxe facility, staring at a copious number of shelves all stacked with sparkling, beckoning tubs and bottles of creams meant to help skin heal and look good. One day I asked the surgeon which products he favored over the others for complexion and body care in general. He candidly whispered to me, "Forget about buying anything here. I sell them because people specifically ask for them. If you want to treat your skin well, turn to Shea and Cocoa Butters." I'll never forget those words . . . Shea and Cocoa Butters! Shea Butter is just one ingredient in the EOS (Evolution of Smooth) Lip Balms found in drugstores everywhere. Other ingredients--depending on which tempting version you choose--include Vitamin E, pure Beeswax, Coconut Oil, and Jojoba Seed Oil to sooth, smooth, and heal. I love the container. The flat end enables it to stay put on the nightstand next to our bed (also known as an "apothecary shelf"), but it's simply fun to play with (consider it a small lip balm/stress-relieving ball). There is never an aggravating tacky feel--it smooths on with extreme ease. I also love the different varieties. I first tried "Honeysuckle Honeydew," "Sweet Mint," and "Pomegranate Raspberry." My husband bought me "Summer Fruit," and I accidentally(!) happened to see a charming duo in "Easter/Spring" which will be appearing in my Easter basket. The preparation is not heavy enough for severely dry lips--I layer Blistex, Carmex, and Chapstick when my lips are truly chapped and split from cold weather or dry heat. But it works well enough to keep your pout kissably soft. The scents are absolutely delightful; I can't get enough! — 2 months, 1 week agoThis review is: Helpful | Not helpful | Inappropriate | 5 of 7 people said helpful

So far so good
I've been intrigued with these for sometime and recently made the purchase. I like that it's a light flavor that doesn't taste too mediciney. It does make my lips soft and I like how it's easy to apply on my lips. I wish it was a little bit creamier like lypsyl, but the package is still new, so maybe. — 2 years, 2 months agoThis review is: Helpful | Not helpful | Inappropriate | 9 of 10 people said helpful

EOS ORGANIC LIP BALM - SMOOTH SPHERE
I own every flavor of the EOS lip balms, and the honeydew one is one of my favorites in terms of scent. I absolutely love the packaging and the shape of the lip balm. The ball lets you swipe the product over both lips at the same time. What would make the packaging even more convenient is if they kept the same shape but made it into a flip top so that you don't have to take that extra step to unscrew/screw the top and worry about dropping it. As much as I love the sheer novelty of EOS lip balms, it really doesn't do a great job in moisturizing very dry lips. I find myself having to reapply a lot. But I keep using these things just because they're so darn cute and smell so darn good. I really hope the company will consider making improvements. First of all, Honeysuckle Honeydew is my favorite flavor of the three eos smooth spheres I own (I also have the Sweet Mint and Strawberry Sorbet). I can see why people would say it feels a little waxy, but what I don't understand is what they would think a lip balm would feel like if it wasn't waxy... this feels the same on my lips as any other lip balm, and it feels great!!! This isn't extremely mousturizing, I use plain boring chapstick for that. ;) But when my lips aren't in need of extreme mousture, these eos smooth spheres are great and smell delicious! Plus, what cute packaging. That's my favorite part. :) I reccomend this! Definitely! It's not a lip healer, but does soften my lips. Perfect for just wearing when you don't want to wear lip gloss/lipstick. This taste and smells so delicious! The container itself is super cute and very unqiue. I will definitely be purchasing this again. I thought this was a cute product and brought it even though it wasn't on sale at CVS. I love the scent of honeydew and it has a pleasant sweet taste. But I don't find this lip balm moisturizing at all - and it's extremely waxy so it's no good under lipsticks. — 1 year, 1 month agoThis review is: Helpful | Not helpful | Inappropriate | 12 of 14 people said helpful
