Love the Powder but Can't Handle the Application!
I hope Lancôme never stops making their "Dual Finish Versatile Powder Foundation," because I find it absolute perfection. It is superb for all year-wear and is so delicate that it is not every noticeable but just refines your skin. It was because of my love for this that I purchased their "Oscillation Powder Foundation." It comes in an ivory shade to match my skin perfectly. I assumed that Lancôme created it to give an "airbrushed" look to skin and was correct. Lancôme proclaims: "See a pixel-precise complexion with fourteen-hour wear. Never messy. Never so simple. Simply push the button and let the velvety cushion applicator glide effortlessly across skin for perfect coverage; 7000 micro-vibrations per minute break down the featherweight mineral powder for seamless blendability." I consider myself adept with makeup (I've had more than my share of practice!), but I had to keep reapplying powder to the applicator to get it to glide easily. The blush did not seem to work very fast or well at all--I would have much better results by applying it with a puff, sponge, or brush. There was a very messy fall-out of product, with tiny foundation particles imbedded in my clothing. I'm very surprised that this foundation is still for sale. Loving it!
This formula definitely has a “no makeup†look but offered me medium coverage. I really like the incandescent glow it gives my skin without getting shiny or oily in the middle of the day, and the longer I wore it–the better it looked as it warmed up to my skin. I’m right in between Ivory 20 and Ivory 30, but Ivory 30 worked out A-okay for me once it was all said and done. I did still have to use concealer around my nose like I always do and that was to be expected–I don’t fault PowerFoundation for that at all because that’s the case for me with about 95% of the foundations I’ve tried. The added benefit of the SPF 21 is awesome, the formula also contains Vitamin E and aloe for additional skin benefits. To use Oscillation PowerFoundation, all you do is gently shake the container 2-3 times before opening the cap. Then, unscrew the cap and lift out the applicator, press the button and use the applicator in circular strokes from the middle of your face moving outwards. Wah-lah! I expect other brands to follow in Lancome’s footsteps with this innovation much like the mascara, but this one is getting great reviews, especially on Sephora where it currently scores 4 out of 5 stars. — 3 years, 4 months agoThis review is: Helpful | Not helpful | Inappropriate | 4 of 5 people said helpful

Not a fan!
I absolutely HATED this foundation! HATED it. There are zero choices for colors for darker complected women & looked ridiculously chalky-probably because the shade was all wrong though. However the vibrating application "brush" is seemed pretty cool, so I used it with my Bare Minerals foundations. I really couldn't tell much of a difference than using my regular brush, it covered well but I give the credit to the amazingness that is bare minerals not the vibrating brush. cool concept
So, while I like the idea and the appearance it yields? The puff is ver delicate and has a tendency to not stay in tact. Since this product is almost 50 dollars, I never anticipated this? My favorite foundation that I have tried!
I have combination skin (oily t-zone) and mineral foundation seems to be the only foundation that helps suck out oil from my skin. The Lancome Ôscillation Powerfoundation is no exception, it keeps my face looking oil free. The vibrating brush/sponge seems to "buff/polish" away any imperfection on my face, while making my face look as natural as possible! The only cons that I see in this foundation is the price, it's expensive!!! $48 a bottle!!! I like it but...
It is a nice foundation, but you can't get enough on the pouf so you have to go back and forth and back and forth to get it on.
