Works Well
Orglamix Pure Mineral Eye Color works very well. It is easy to apply and I can create several different looks with this eye shadow. sandalwood Rocks!
I recently purchased cashmere and espresso. I love the colors. Cashmere can be worn alone for daytime use and blended darker for evening. Espresso I was a little worried about after I brought it home, but it is absolutely awesome. I blended a darker brown color in the crease and foiled the green on the lid. Yes, the sizes are small, but that's why they are inexpensive! More product equals more cost, and honestly, do you need to put a ton of the product on? First off, with any mineral product, especially eyeshadows, a primer is the best solution for that full color visibility. Cheri, the lady who runs this business, has released a new product called Magnetism, a primer for her shadows. She even shows ...read moreyou what it could look like without it. It's the same with any mineral products, including MAC: it looks better with a primer. I just use concealer as my primer, and the eyeshadow still looks great. Sometimes light is better, but even with light colors they are visible because of the nice shimmer to them. This business is growing, and with that comes experience: eventually bigger sizes will become available, better packaging, and hopefully not higher costs. So far I have been very pleased with these products, especially since they're natural and not factory processed. Loving Orglamix Pure Mineral Eye Color.
I absolutely love this eye shadow! It is very smooth & easy to blend & apply. It has just enough pigment to where you don't need to use too much but have the power to blend & be bold. Gorgeous, unique colors! The shadow goes on smooth and stay true to its color all day. A beautiful shade. It's perfect for every skin tones. I can't get enough of this eye shadow. The best part is that they last all day long. Would recommend to every eye shadow lover! I LOVE Orglamix!
I absolutely love this mineral makeup! The colors are absolutely beautiful and they last all day, especially when used with a primer! It's very easy to get a more subtle look for daytime by applying one or two layers of the mineral makeup, or apply a few more for a darker and more dramatic nighttime look. Ok I have very sensitive skin and so for me to even try make up I get super scared. And I was looking at different brands and stumbled upon this one, I read her page and was so far liking what I was seeing and saw that to add her on FB so I did, I won some make up by entering in one of her many drawings so I really did get to try her make up before I purchase and I fell in love with it!! I even tried bare escentuals and their make up fades within a few hours for me and have the shimmer all over my face rather than on the eyes where I have applied it. Orglamix products are not the pigmented POW that is professed in beauty blogs all over the internet running contests for this company. The actual shades are sheer and cut with something that makes them dusty. This is a brand new company and it is very hard to find honest reviews on them that do not involve a contest. This makes it really hard to find an un-biases opinion about the products. My r...read moreeview of the products is that they are not true to their advertised weight, jars are not full and despite their cheap price, you're not getting much more than many companies sell as a sample. Also, the formula is very fly-away, not rich and pigmented. The jars they come in are not the one pictured in this review. I got all small jars with fake rounded bottoms (gives the illusion of a lot of product), no label on top, and a small label on the bottom that didnt even include a list of ingredients. Ingredients listings are important, and in revisiting the Etsy website for Orglamix, they don't even list the real ingredients on the listings. Some of us have chemical sensitivities- we want to know what's in there- not just mica, shimmer, etc. The real ingredients. Orglamix is a very new company and as a frequent buyer of mineral makeup, they have a lot to learn about formulating, packaging and labelling. Excited to get colors so cheap, but you get what you pay for.
Contests about this makeup on several of my favorite mommy blog reads made me excited to try it. I entered the contests, tweeted, joined the fb page, you name it. I wanted to win! I didn't win. But I felt like I had to try it so I did. I thought the colors would be a lot more pigmented than they are. They are very sheer. But the most disappointing thing is that there was so little in the jars, the...read morey weren't even half full. The Etsy page says they have a half teaspoon in each jar, but I emptied the jar into a half teaspoon and it doesn't even fill it halfway. I'm used to buying mineral makeup that comes packed into jars. These were also jars with fake domed bottoms, so you get even less. I feel ripped off and I don't think the makeup was very good quality. I'm ashamed that I fell for all of the excitement created by contests. It is what is is.
