Excellent Results
With this brand of hair dye, I always love the results. I never get the brassiness, I get natural looking highlight or when the sun hits my hair, I get shine all over and it still makes my hair look healthy. I like that the color shows up even on my Asian black hair which usually takes a few dyes in othe regular brands to get to the color shade I want but this box makes it so much easier, fast, painless, and I get lovely looks for my hair! This is definitely my favorite dye on the market that I would prefer over paying much more going to the salon getting an all over color. — 3 years, 8 months agoThis review is: Helpful | Not helpful | Inappropriate | 9 of 9 people said helpful

Good color
I've done my hair in various shades of black and Feria is my favorite store brand that I've tried although I usually wait til it is on on sale because it is twice as much as other dyes I've tried. The color does get noticeably less shimmery after awhile, I think the highlights are one of the first things to fade, but generally it has good lasting power. Easy to apply, the included conditioner is pretty nice, generally a good at home kit. — 3 years, 8 months agoThis review is: Helpful | Not helpful | Inappropriate | 2 of 2 people said helpful

Here today...
I have only ever used the jet black selection in this dye brand, so I cannot tell you how the more difficult colors (blondes, reds) will typically turn out, but the black turns out beautifully. Unfortunately, it also washes out in about a week. Mind you, I do not wash my hair every day, I use a sulfate free, color preserving shampoo and conditioner that works wonderfully at preserving hair color, use cold water to wash my hair, & avoid heat styling. In short, I know how to make a dye job last. I also found that this last time I used this product, it really seemed to dry out my hair & it seemed to smell like hair dye for about a week after I colored it despite washing it about 3 times that week. This was quite surprising because I had tried this brand several times before & continued on with it because it had, until now, provided fade-resistant color that did not dry out my hair. I think the boxed version has had a formula change because if you buy the dye alone in a beauty supply store such as Sally's, it seems to work better than the boxed brand. Try your luck with the beauty supply store version because it does work better; unfortunately I have to give a low rating for the boxed, drugstore Feria color system. — 2 years agoThis review is: Helpful | Not helpful | Inappropriate | 2 of 2 people said helpful

Great color, terrible to keep
I got this color starting out naturally as a brunette. I loved it. I got a lot of compliments on the color. But after the first wash it starts to turn brassy, and although my hair only needs washing once a week, by a month the roots looked the same but the rest of my hair was brassy. Not getting this again. — 9 months, 1 week agoThis review is: Helpful | Not helpful | Inappropriate | 1 of 1 people said helpful

loreal feria
I love this product!! when i was in my 30s i lightened my hair, and preferred a different brand. but now in my late 40s I prefersomething closer to my natural haircolor that will also cover the gray. Feria is the best I have found as far as natural looking color. And I have tried every one on the market. I have seen many posts here about excellence cream, but it dried my hair out too much. with feria my hair feels and looks great!! — 1 year, 2 months agoThis review is: Helpful | Not helpful | Inappropriate | 2 of 2 people said helpful

I can't believe I love a box color!
I am a hair dresser and have shunned box hair color since I became one, I was bored one night and decided to pick this up at the 24 hour pharmacy and it's probably better than all of the professional products I've used. I used to use redken color and I can tell you that it is very flat compared to this, I'm probably going to mix it with my own developer next time because the one it comes with seems way too strong. — 1 year, 7 months agoThis review is: Helpful | Not helpful | Inappropriate | 1 of 1 people said helpful

Not too good
I bought the soft black violet and it didnt even come out that color, it came out soft red instead and there's no shimmer in the color either. My hair were dark brown before I dyed them so I should have gotten a better color. I'm hoping that I can change it back to normal. — 1 year, 8 months agoThis review is: Helpful | Not helpful | Inappropriate | 3 of 3 people said helpful

Meh
My hair came out very, very soft, but the color is nowhere near what was promised by the box. — 1 year, 11 months agoThis review is: Helpful | Not helpful | Inappropriate | 2 of 2 people said helpful

Great Color but Fades Fast
I love the color but it fades so quickly. I get about two weeks of a beautiful shade but then it's gone. The browns and reds tend to be deeper than shown but they're still lovely! I thought the color fading was a one off due to a particular shade so I tried different shades in the same family and had the same problem: significant fading after two weeks. **I was my hair three times a week with salon shampoo for color treated hair.** — 2 years agoThis review is: Helpful | Not helpful | Inappropriate | 2 of 2 people said helpful
