L'Oreal Feria Hair Color
I love the L'Oreal Feria Hair color. I like that it has built in highlights. I always need 2 boxes of any brand of hair color because I have thicker hair so I am always prepared! Good but not great
I have been coloring my hair for many years, oftentimes at home, sometime at salons. One thing I love about Feria is their color selection. Even just for brown shade there are many to choose from. I used the Espresso shade first, but it was a bit darker than I wanted. So I changed to the Havana Brown, which has a bit lighter brown color. It has a chemical smell just like many at-home hair coloring system, but nothing I cannot stand. The application is a bit messy, and I have to wait 25 min. I love the color but the formula seemed to be somewhat harsh for my hair, and unfortunately, next few days I am not supposed to use an intensive treatment (because it would rip the color). Great, Professional Color
If you get on the L'Oreal website, you should have no trouble mapping out what you want but take your time. Don't make rash decisions because the color lasts. It works great on healthy hair. It gives lovely shimmering color and based on your eye and skin colors, you should find a fantastic shade that works well for you. Feria is high quality. Don't complain about the few extra dollars. Nice dimension
I love the result of this for a couple of weeks, i did notice that after the 4th wash it started fading. No longer a fan
I started using this seven years ago to dye my mousy brown hair copper. It's never fried my hair or resulted in a crazy color. Best of all, it played up my natural highlights. They discontinued the color I liked, and I've been unsatisfied with the replacements, which all look too bright and fake. Two weeks ago I decided to start dying my hair medium brown, and was very pleased with the color. Too bad it has since rinsed out. Espresso/Deeply Brown not dark enough
I tried this in Espresso/Deeply Brown, and the brown is not dark enough as the name would imply. Under certain lighting there are very reddish tones; this could be my natural color showing through as I naturally have copper tones in my dark brown hair. I don't see any darker brown shade than this in the Feria line. The weekly conditioner included is very drying. UPDATE 4/11/11: I thought the Espresso was too light so I tried Midnight Sky which is a natural black. It looked a natural black when not under any lighting which I liked but under certain brighter lighting there were very yellow tones over the black which looked tacky - too much contrast between yellow and black. I think it may be the "shimmering tones"??? I have not tried Feria without the shimmer packet but it's very unlikely I will ever use Feria again. Changing my previous rating of 7 to a 2 now. decent DIY color
This product gave a nice color, covered my grays, and left my hair shiny. Great for the price
This product is great for its price...less than $20 for DIY hair color, rather than the $100+ you'd have to shell out for a salon job. However, the results of course can't be compared to professional coloring. Unfortunately, the color is vibrant for only about 2 weeks and quickly fades afterwards.
