Maybelline New York SuperStay 24 Hour Makeup Reviews

Great Product!
This foundation is not the best for oily skin, but I have oily skin. Using the right products with this foundation can make a BIG difference! Many people probably think its "cacky", because they apply it with their hands. Going with a brush is a good way to use this foundation. Using Maybelline New York Mineral Power Loose Powder in Translucent after using the new Highlighting Concealer, or Mineral Power Concealer can help with cackyness and make the face look smooth. You have to actually think about the ways that you apply the product! If you have not done that yet, then you have no room to talk or write a review! Thank you. — 1 year, 2 months agoThis review is: Helpful | Not helpful | Inappropriate | 4 of 4 people said helpful

Not worth it.
I tried this product with hopes of it living up to its name. It doesn't. It is heavy feeling on my face and I have to apply A LOT to get the coverage I need. The colors aren't accurate so It made me Reallyyy tan and unnatural. This foundation slips and slides off my face and doesn't last as long as it says. — 1 year, 4 months agoThis review is: Helpful | Not helpful | Inappropriate | 0 of 0 people said helpful

So so.
I had mixed experiences with this foundation, first of all the shade matching was extremely difficult as most shades are too dark, and all the shades ending in Beige oxidize as orange. I only tried this foundation as a friend has it and it looks stunning on her, I do like the matte/satin finish and the coverage, but I also have issues with the packaging being that it's very messy and the lid is really, really bad for dispensing product. — 1 year, 4 months agoThis review is: Helpful | Not helpful | Inappropriate | 1 of 1 people said helpful

My favorite!!!
This is absolutely the best foundation I have tried. I have tried EL double wear and double wear light, mary kay medium coverage, laura mercier silk creme, revlon colorstay, almay, and others. This is the only foundation that does note cake-up in the pores around my nose. I have alot of redness around my nose and do not even have to use a concealer when I use superstay. I do not set this with a powder, I have normal skin with slighly oily forehead, it stays on all day. I absolutely love this makeup, it covers great, looks natural, and does not cake!!! If it only had a pump I would give it a 10. — 1 year, 5 months agoThis review is: Helpful | Not helpful | Inappropriate | 3 of 4 people said helpful

Pleasantly surprised
I didn't know what to expect with it being a cheap brand like maybelline, covergirl, nyc, etc. But I love it. First of all it is a great deal. It is a big bottle that will last me a very long time. It blends well. Gives a flawless airbrushed look. I use Neutrogena powder over it(also an amazing product) and my not so flawless skin looks flawless all day long. Highly recommend for cheapo people like me:) — 1 year, 8 months agoThis review is: Helpful | Not helpful | Inappropriate | 8 of 9 people said helpful

MAYBELLINE NEW YORK SUPERSTAY 24 HOUR MAKEUP
I like it. It stays on all day long and really doesn't clog pores, as promised. Maybe the secret is to use a brush to put it on, so that it doesn't feel "cakey" and thick... I like it. — 1 year, 10 months agoThis review is: Helpful | Not helpful | Inappropriate | 3 of 4 people said helpful

Not that great
It does have super staying power, but it made my usually clear skin breakout. — 1 year, 11 months agoThis review is: Helpful | Not helpful | Inappropriate | 0 of 2 people said helpful

I love it
It's medium coverage, so it helps cover my blemishes. It IS viscous like someone mentioned earlier, so it's blendable-- just apply a little at a time to the back of your hand and dip your soft foundation brush into a little bit and blend. And to me, it DOES stay on pretty darn well. It has a natural finish for me. I don't know why people hate on it so much. And-- I've tried applying this foundation upon another foundation and it seems like it's the best combination for me: Cleanser. Toner. Moisturizer (regular Cetaphil bottle). Neutrogena Skin clearing foundation on certain acne-prone spots. Concealer. Maybelline SuperStay. Finishing powder, lightly tapped on. Even with all that stuff on, it looks natural, just use a light hand. I know it's a bad idea to not clean off your make up when you go to the gym, but I'm really self-conscious about my skin. :/ Luckily, the foundation is non-comedogenic and won't clog my pores anyways. Anyways, I do cardio for an hour, and I sweat like crazy and turn as red as a beet. When I check the mirror, there's still a decent amount of coverage on my face! I tried Revlon's Colorstay-- and you can see through the coverage and see all my blemishes and can see the redness of my face showing through. Oh and only downside-- since I have oily skin, I still get a bit oily hours later, but then again, this foundation isn't supposed to be matte or oil-controlling anyways. For matte foundation, I just use my MUFE Mat Velvet. — 1 year, 11 months agoThis review is: Helpful | Not helpful | Inappropriate | 5 of 6 people said helpful
