Great Line
There is certainly something to appreciate at least one collection from each brand of drugstore lipstick; however, this line is definitely among my favorites. The selection is huge and has great variety-from purples to neutrals to pinks to reds, and even a line of pearls. Red Revival was the first lipstick I ever owned, and to this day it is a favorite of mine. It is a deep and shocking creamy red that is literally perfect for every occasion. The formulation of this line is thick and creamy, but beware that they can get a bit sticky and bleed into fine lines if you apply them too heavily. The staying power is certainly notable for a drugstore lipstick, and the dark colors tend to leave a nice, even stain on your lips. One problem I have with the line is way too many pearly/shimmery colors. I only wear creme lipsticks and it’s really disappointing when I see a gorgeous color on the shelf, reach for it, and find it to be shimmery. I think they need to expand on their cremes. The pigmentation throughout this line is fantastic, the colors are bold and true to the product in the tube. Overall I do recommend this lipstick to anyone, they have a ton of colors so there is something for everyone and the price is certainly worth it. I also love the packaging, and how the different color groups within the line share the same shade of plastic on the outside. I warn those who like to apply a lip balm or chap stick under their lipstick that you need to be careful when doing that with this product-too much and your lipstick will slide around like crazy. Honestly, I'm not quite sure what to make of this lipstick yet. I first tried it because of the reviews here, and my first purchase was in Warm Me Up, which is in the “Natural” palette. I figured it was safe because it’s close to my natural lip color, just a little deeper and rosier. Based on this first purchase, I was ready to rate it a 10. It went on smooth and creamy without any primer or liner, settled in, and stayed in place for hours. Even after eating, when it felt like it was gone, I’d check and discover there was still plenty of pigment. I’d just apply a clear lip balm for moisture and keep going. Very excited at this find, and looking for a good nude lip color, I bought a second one in the “Natural” palette called Warm Latte, which looked like a soft pinky-beige. I was unpleasantly surprised to discover that once applied this color looks more orange-y than either the color label on the tube, or the lipstick itself, would suggest. Since I need blue undertones, this color looks terrible on me. I’ve never worn it out of the house. Unfortunately, because I was so happy with my first purchase I made the mistake of buying the second one from Target, which doesn’t take returns of opened makeup, so the second one is going in the trash. Love it!
These lipsticks are absolutely amazing. I love everything from the packaging to the formula. The formula is very creamy but doesn't wipe out as soon as your mouth touches a cup. Beautiful Colours!
Wow, I've never had lipstick like this before. Its not dry. It doesnt feather. I can eat with it (after like 20 minutes of course). It doesnt fade or dull. And the bright colors make my customers blush at work (they feel like Im not aware of the color shouting from my lips). Great color
I'm not too big into lip color. I'm normally never caught without my chapstick! I saw the shade "So Pearly" on Pinterest one day and thought it was so pretty and natural looking! I have fair-medium toned skin, so natural is about all I can pull off without looking washed out or over-done. A night out is the only time I'd go dramatic. I picked this color up at Walgreens. It's a light, dewey nude color. I wouldn't say it's pink, more like a pearly beige. I love how it doesn't dry my lips out like other lip color I've tried. It's creamy and not sticky! The dream lipstick!
THESE ARE AMAZING. They are basically everything you need in a lipstick. Its so moisturizing and the colors have SO MUCH variety. Pink Sand is my absolute dream lipstick. I would recommend this brand to anyone. But the best part is the shape of the tip because it makes it WAY easier to apply . The colors are bold!
I have the color in Red Revival. Since I have pale skin, it looks really bold on my lips, almost to where I look like a vampire, but i love it! Wow
This lasts long, the colour is very strong and the colours are wearable at the same time.
