This is way too sweet for me-and I have to get on the bandwagon and also admit it is too easy to associate it with my grandmother-whom I loved dealy but do NOT want to smell like and my great aunts. Several of the YSL fragrances over the years have done that for me-too old o sweet or too old and spicy-they interfere with your essense instead of enhancing it. one of the best smelling perfumes
WOW! i was able to try a sample of this--i absolutely love it. i was a little scared when i read "eau de parfum" because my nose is very sensitive to strong scents. i sprayed it once and then sprayed it AGAIN! it's not overhwelming or strong at all. it smells really lovely, definitley a flowery perfume without an overload of alcohol or strong smell. i would ask for this as a birthday present, it's a really classy perfume.This review is: Helpful | Not helpful | Inappropriate | 1 of 2 people said helpful

One of my signature fragrances
Every other time that I wear this I receive a compliment. Maybe it is the way that this scent works with my body chemistry. It has a sweet smell, kinda fruity and maybe better for a woman that is a little older and slightly sophisticated. It works for me, however. Loved it
I feel like people either love this perfume or hate it. I love rose florals as well as sandalwood so this fragrance was spot on for me. I moved onto Parisienne from Vera Wang's Princess, which was a sweet floral because I wanted a more mature/sophisticated version of the tones I loved in Princess. The bottle is beautiful, and the staying power is much better with Parisienne. Refreshing rose, not as modern as you'd think
I find the rose/red berries combination fresh without being too sweet, and there is just a hind of sharpness that comes through afterwards to prevent it from being too straightforwardly retro. But it's still a pretty conventional (or, to be fair, pretty though conventional) rose fragrance, not even remotely as edgy or offbeat as the marketing suggests (as for listing "vinyl" as a note--give me a break).
