Nothing special
A friend sent me a tube of this. It's not something I would normally buy, but since I have it I've been using it. It works fine as a foundation primer, providing a nice, smooth base for powder application and it does keep my foundation in place throughout the day. But I don't see anything "pore perfecting" about it and it also doesn't reduce shine on my oily skin. Urban Decay Complexion Primer Potion - Pore Perfecting
I am really oily and have tried so many foundation primers that I feel I am almost an expert, but have been mostly disappointed with the others that I have tried. Didn't work with my mineral makeup
I really wanted to like this since I'm a huge fan of the Urban Decay eyeshadow primer, but the face primer just didn't work. It made my skin look nice when I put it on, but the texture was too thick to spread easily. I felt like I was really tugging at my skin while applying it. It also caused my mineral makeup to streak and cake, and it gunked up my makeup brushes like crazy. leaves a white residue
I received this from one of my monthly beauty boxes. It is a 5 ml sample size which I could use enough times to give a feedback. This is definetely not for aging skin. It dries my skin and as the other reviewer mentioned, it doesnot work with mineral makeup. I didnot see any change on the pore size. Leaves a white residue like a cheap sunscreen. Made my face an oil slick
I have had one of the worst breakouts of my life since switching to this primer. Furthermore, my face becomes overly shiny and oily the second I put my usual makeup on over it. I had to put powder on over my make up just so the oily film would be absorbed. Really different kind of primer...
I must begin admitting that this primer does really reduce the appearance of larger pores. That being said, it has this weird, almost slimy texture that never completely goes away. I was a skeptic at first..but love it!
I hate products that seem to promise to "minimize pores" they usually don't live up to what you expect. But when you wash your face then use this after, it does the job! I used a small amount (anymore would be a waste, and make you look a tint of purple) and saw my pores tighten. Keep in mind this is NOT a miracle to make your pores completely disappear. Big visible pores can be controll...read moreed with daily washing. But for those that have normal skin that is taken care of on a regular basis will see results. It did tend to have a pearl purple tint in its color, so I highly suggest only using a small amount. I love the cute container, and the packaging was nice. I love squeeze containers because you can really get all your product out for use. Urban Decay did a great job.
