No Volume For Me
Since this is made by Lancome, I thought it would be really good. It is supposed to be a volume mascara, but for me, it did nothing. I tried several applications on top of one another, and it still did not build volume. In fact, it made my lashes stick together and was clumpy. I really like the design of the brush. It is bent for volume building. I have tried other volume building mascaras before, and I particularly like Big Fatty by Urban Decay. This mascara doesn't even come close to a less expensive products, like Maybelline. I do not recommend this product based on my personal experience. Want GOOD drama?
It's really tough to find single good mascara in the pool of seemingly good mascaras. I would always recommend trying many different brands and types of mascara, and even down to a specific color because all that really plays out in whether or not the mascara can provide you with the volume and length you so desire. This Lancome Hypnose Drama Instant Full Body Volume Mascara has a nice twirl-like shape that can easily maneuver around your lashes providing a great boost of volume. Although the mascara does not have a pleasant, it’s still not a huge determining factor in the performance of this mascara. Realistically since you’re suppose to throw our mascaras every three months, I think this mascara would be a great mascara to try for yourself to see if the results for you are better or worst then for others. Just reading through other members reviews, you can tell that this mascara works great for some and not that well for others. As some people already noticed, this mascara, as volumizing as it can be, has the tendency to clump a little bit, especially if you’re not careful in applying it evenly. In which case, all you really have to do is to use one of those mascara wands to comb through your lashes and then you should be all set and good to go. The s-shape wand is unique and formula is definitely long lasting. Nonetheless, this isn’t quite the best mascara that I’ve ever tried so I wouldn’t necessary purchase this again myself. However, I do encourage those of you to either try a sample size of this from the counter and/or purchase one to try for yourself. A good mascara, but not great
You have to work with this a little to really get the full effect. If you apply it straight out of the tube, your lashes will be super clumpy. The s-shaped curve of the brush picks up too much product, is a little scratchy, and makes it a little more difficult to apply than your traditional mascara brush. The formula can volumize a bit, but the main effect is that my lashes seem to look longer. The formula itself is alright--no flaking or smudging. great mascara

Great thickening and lengthening mascara
I really liked this mascara. It could easily go on too goopy if you're not careful though. I applied slowing and smoothly and i could notice a big difference on the length it gave my eyelashes. I liked that its pretty thick too. It gave a lot of volume to my eyelashes. After two coats, I liked how thick and long my eyelashes looked that I didn't even bother to put on eyeshadow or eyeliner. Holy Grail of Mascaras
This mascara works perfectly for me. The results give me full and long lashes. My friend thought I was wearing falsies. It also didn't clump at all on me and lasted very well throughout the day. The brush took a little getting used to, but once I figured it out, holding it at different angles creates different looks. This is also easy to remove. Just okay
I love mascara. I have tried a lot of them, and I know what I like in one. This one is just okay at best. It does not provide any length or curl, but it does provide volume, well, a little. The formula does not "bleed" with my super oily eyelids like others do. It is super black, so it provides the illusion of thicker lashes. One thing I did like a lot was the fact that even after it dries, it feels soft, not clumpy or hard like other mascara. So this mascara is definitely not for a dramatic look, but rather for a day look, or every day look or a natural look. So relatively, this mascara is not the worst I have tried, but it is not the best out there. It is very subtle, nothing dramatic or that pops-out.
