A good deal!
Finally an eyeliner specifically for the waterline! I was so excited to try this. And it didn't disappoint (mostly). It applies incredibly smoothly, which minimizes irritation. The wear is impressive too. It can fade into the lashline a little bit, especially if my eyes are really watery. But it doesn't look bad, I just end up with a smudged, smoky lower lashline-which isn't necessarily bad! I usually carry it with me and I only need 1 touch-up (if that). Side note: when I first apply it; my eyes seem to look red. I don't think this is from the liner, it's just the color I have (topaz). For some reason it gives my eyes a red tint! Pretty Good - I recommend.
I'm always looking for the perfect liner for my under eye area/waterline that won't run and give me dark under eyes or mess with my contacts. This one is pretty good...the staying power is decent, but I do have to reapply after an hour or two. The part I like most about this is that it doesn't bother my contacts and this is really hard to do when you are trying to wear heavy eye makeup or just line all around the eyes. This is the only liner that I can use for that purpose, so I am sticking to it. Do I think it could be a litlte bit more inky or dark, yes...and for that I cannot call it perfection. So far the closes thing to perfection ...every now and then I'll try to use another liner and then I come back to this one. Kind of a surprise that I come back so much because I didn't think I loved it...but alas, it has won it's way into my heart and become a staple that I would miss if it were not there. Not bad, but not perfect.
I just got this a few days ago because a Sephora employee recommended it to me, and it was only $14. It was less than the one I was going to get since I ran out of it, the Stila smudge stick. I put eyeliner on my water line, so it is kind of hard to find an eyeliner that will stay. The smudge stick did, but not perfectly. This is specifically for your waterline so I got it, and I wasn't too impressed. It stays a little better than the smudge stick, but not as well as i had hoped. If you touch it, it comes off. It stays on for a pretty long time, and doesn't run or smudge, but I was hoping for something better. Not a hot product...
I am always on the search for the best waterline eyeliner. I have tried so many! This one was one of them and yes; I do love all the colors it comes in, but I hated this one!! It budged within an hour of putting it on my waterline. I dab my waterline dry, but pressed powder underneath then applied the liner then swept it with some translucent powder and it still moves. I used "Black Pearl" and I thought it was so pretty and kept it for a little bit; but it just sat there in my eyeliner jar so I returned it. Maybe it's because I have the traditional Asian eyes- I don't know. great eyeliner

Gentle, deep color
Several makeup lines have been coming out with eyeliners suitable for the waterline. I bought this in Onyx (deep black). It is gentle and very easy to apply compared to other soft pencil eyeliners, and its great that the color is deep and intense. I compared this to CoverGirl's exact eyelights in black pearl, and found this to be better. I have normal+oily combination skin and my waterline makeup always runs in the under eye area. This one also did, but much less than other eyeliners.
