Not for serious coverage

This is going to be more for MEDUIM coverage and brightening. It's not going to cover serious hyperpigmentation or super dark circles. You can use this to brighten areas such as your laugh lines and upper cheekbones (think of Yves Saint Laurent's Touche Eclat), but this isn't going to add radiance like the Touch Eclat will. Personally, I don't like the plastic tip to apply onto skin. Click the product out and put it on the back of your clean hand and use your finger or a concealer brush to pat onto your trouble spots. Don't stroke it on--pat it.

Great Coverage and Formula

This has usurped my other favorite concealers. It's almost as lightweight as my favorite serum concealers, and it provides full coverage without feeling tacky. Plus, I really like the applicator. I find that so many concealers feature applicators that are much too big for my under-eye area, but this one fits perfectly and dispenses just the right amount of product.

Love this concealer

My new go-to for dark circles. This lightweight formula goes on smoothly and provides serious coverage. Doesn't cake or settle into lines. Brightens my undereye area. It's awesome.

it's a concealer but where is the coverage

Do you ever have those mornings where the area under your eyes looks like Grimace sat on them and left some of his purple behind? I bought this one because I’ve always heard that you should use a concealer that is lighter than your own skin color. Additionally my skin has a slight pink tint so ye...read morellow based products usually make me look ill - Make Up For Ever HD concealer came in the color I needed so I snatched it up! Lets start with the packaging. The concealer is in a pen with a clicker on one end and a soft rubber nozzle on the other. I can only assume that the nozzle is designed as it is so that the tip can be used to dab the product onto your skin (like you would with your finger) but the problem with that is more product will continue to come out. This is not a major issue, but something that can be annoying. The formula is thicker than foundation but not as thick as a product like Urban Decay’s Primer Potion. The color I got is slightly more pink than yellow. The product blends easily into the skin and leaves the area just a hue lighter with minimal coverage. The purple area under my eye is just slightly less purple after use... Its not bad enough to throw away but I don’t think I’d get it again. There are plenty of other concealers to try.

Serious Coverage Without Looking Cakey

Give me all of this concealer. It's lightweight, illuminating without being shimmery, and gives really good coverage for my undereye bags. Love.

LD (Low Definition) concealer "rolling eyes"

I couldn't wait to try this one. Honestly, this will not provide you with coverage. For its texture you will notice that the product comes out split and watery so shake it extremely well before using. As far as blending it is concerned - DO NOT USE fingers! This product is creamier than you will anticipate, using fingers will deposit a layer of natural oils and thin the coverage further.

Holy Grail Right Now

So I'm an inanely stressed out medical student in my mid 20s...living off of too much caffeine and way too little sleep. Which of course means massively horrific dark circles...plus I'm of Indian descent so there's also a lovely genetic predisposition that makes it all worse. :( I was resigned to looking like the walking undead until an amaaaazing MUA at the local Sephora suggested I try a combo o...read moref MUFE's Orange Color Corrector + this concealer (in #160) on top to blend it out. And, I kid you not...before I even put my NARS Sheer Glow in Syracuse on top...my dark circles are 90% gone. It's incredible. I actually look human again!!! Plus, I'm shocked by how incredibly well the color matches my skin tone - which as I'm sure all you WOC are well aware can often be a hassle. I know some people don't like the rubber tip, but that's a matter of personal preference, I do like it - but if you don't just twist a bit of product onto the back of your hand and use a fingertip or a brush on your face. Pat, don't rub, & use your ring finger! Other than some hyperpigmentation & dark circles I have pretty decent skin so I adore this product b/c with this plus the corrector I can actually skip foundation most days and still look good. Now, coverage wise, I don't think this would be enough if I wasn't using the color corrector underneath, but since I am...most of the purple-ly dark circle is already covered by that so the concealer is the perfect amount of coverage necessary to blend out the orange. One problem I DO have is that as the day goes on this does tend to settle into fine lines underneath my eyes a bit if I haven't properly primed & set my face. I can usually get around this by using a decent primer before I use the corrector & then using a translucent setting powder on top of the concealer but it is something of a con that keeps it from being the absolute holy grail concealer. Still, I absolutely recommend this combo of products for ANYONE struggling with dark circles!

My Go-To Concealer

A friend of mine who has lovely skin without looking like she's wearing a lot of makeup told me that this was her secret weapon. I have to agree! It blends easily and covers very well. I specifically use it to cover under eye circles and it definitely helps make me look more awake. The only reason it isn't a 10 is because it does settle into the fine lines under my eyes, even when I set it immedia...read moretely with powder. I'm in my mid 20s so it's not that bad- however, I image I'll have to find something else once these little lines get deeper. This also doesn't last more than a few weeks, which is disappointing considering the price.
