I checked recently and I don't think Urban Decay even makes this primer anymore...but I'm going to review it anyway because it looks like you can still get it from Amazon. I used this several times with several different lip products, trying to give it the best chance to impress me...but it just didn't. The tube is slim which I like for ease of keeping on hand for reapplication, and the product ha...read mores a slight scent of vanilla which I found pleasant. Those are almost the only compliments I can give this product. It is kind of hard and I felt like I had to run the stick over my lips 3 or 4 times to even feel like any product was going on. It felt soft enough, similar to a half-decent balm, but it did nothing for any lipstick. It doesn't make any lip product last longer, nor did it increase the color payoff. Aren't those the things you expect from a primer? It certainly didn't make my lipstick experience any worse, aside from adding a step, but it didn't make it better either. Definitely not impressed, but that makes me curious about the NEW lip primer Urban Decay has out. I wonder if it's any better? Very Poor. DO NOT BUY
This lip primer is so hard and waxy, it doesn't pay off much when you stroke your lip with it. You press very hard, get the product on, but then it dilutes your lipstick color so that pigment payoff is not as rich. Not good enough
Cosmetics companies keep rolling out supposedly long-lasting lipsticks and glosses when what we've needed all along is a lip primer. Too bad this one is it. It's formula feels thick and waxy on your lips, and the product in the tube gets grainier with each use. Forgivable sins if it works, but it doesn't. Worst Lip Primer
I got this primer in a pinch. I was going away and I didn't have time to get to a MAC in order to repurchase their lip primer (my favorite one!). I was by a sephora and so I stopped in and figured I'd try this one. What a waste. This is SUPER drying on my lips. My lips feel terrible after applying this. I definitely would not repurchase. The only up side to this product is that the packaging is pretty. Other than that, I hated it. hard and waxy
When I first cracked it open to use it, it was fine. After that, it dried out, became super waxy as a result, and it started to crumble. After like 3 weeks, it had become so hard, that it broke right off. A Good Product
I must admit I felt the same as some of the other ladies that commented on this product, but after sticking with this primer I’m sold on it. The primer is very waxy and can be a little rough if it’s cold, but I found the trick. You have to apply this with one or two swipes and then use your finger to melt it in a few times around. I typically apply a lip liner on the full lip followe...read mored by a Mac Lipstick usually, although with just the liner you’ll end up with a beautiful stained look that will stay almost the full day (so long as you’re not one of those people that rub their lips together all day).
