Get EVERY Eyelash
Very unique mascara, it gets eyelashes in every angle. The brush helps get close to the root, and even your corner, and stray lashes. The brush is a little small but, it works well. The price is good. I like it BEST on my bottom lashes. Stays on for a long time. — 3 years, 8 months agoThis review is: Helpful | Not helpful | Inappropriate | 0 of 1 people said helpful

Keep q-tips and makeup remover handy when you apply this mascara
L'Oreal has been touting this product as revolutionary because it reaches and coats every lash. I'll give them that much. Telescope Explosion gave me long, nicely separated lashes that made my eyes look doe-y. I also applaud them for coming up with an inexpensive mascara that doesn't irritate my contacts or smudge, even after a long day at the office. The formula is too creamy, requiring that you follow application with an eyelash brush to unstick your lashes and get that nice separation L'Oreal promises. The tiny round brush makes application tricky until you get some practice. While I was applying mascara to my left eye (I'm right handed), I was so concentrated on accurate aim that I didn't notice the product was rubbing off the wand stem and onto my cheek. — 3 years, 8 months agoThis review is: Helpful | Not helpful | Inappropriate | 2 of 2 people said helpful

definitely "complete coverage"
pro: it gets all over your lashes, everywhere you'd want it. con: it gets all over your lashes, even where you don't want it. the round "flexi-globe" brush is a bit intimidating (it looks like the weapon the schoolgirl was wielding in kill bill, just at the end of a wand instead of a chain!) this unique shape is supposed to allow you to reach your lashes individually from every direction so you get complete coverage. because the brush is small, you end up taking a few swipes more than you would with your typical brush. the challenge is that as you swipe, your lashes will inevitably come in contact with the wand portion and you wind up with globs and clumps of mascara all over your lashes - more so than you wanted. the brush itself isn't very good at spreading out extra product or separating lashes either. i found myself wiping of extra product and separating w/ my fingers/fingernails. but i've learned to really use the "come at it from all angles" approach - even pointing the wand at my eyes as if i were about to poke my eyes out, to maximize brush contact and minimize actual wand contact. once you do get the hang of it, you can really lengthen and lift your corner lashes. i usually prefer a curling mascara to help my straight lashes but this surprisingly adds a bit of lift. not my fave, but at the fraction of the cost of higher end brands, not bad either. ***i was lucky enough to score a free sample of this product*** — 3 years, 7 months agoThis review is: Helpful | Not helpful | Inappropriate | 0 of 1 people said helpful

Best applicator EVER
I am hooked on this applicator! It took a few tries to get used to, but now I hate using wand brushes. This round applicator gets EVERY lash, no matter how tiny. I also have had no clumps when applying. As for the mascara, I really like it. My lashes were elongated and thickened without looking fake. Even though the formula I have isn't waterproof, you would never know it. It lasted through a tear-jerker movie and a hot humid day without running, flaking or smudging - and even some waterproof formulas can't match that! It came of easily with makeup remover and didn't leave my lashes feeling dry or brittle. The only other mascara I have used that could top this one is Lancome Definicils. No wonder why this new mascara is so good - Lancome and L'Oreal are the same company. — 3 years, 8 months agoThis review is: Helpful | Not helpful | Inappropriate | 0 of 1 people said helpful

Long lashes and little flakes....
First of all, I LOVE the brush! It's easy to use, and you do end up getting every last lash. I found 2 downsides with this product, it doesn't build any volume and by the end of the day, I found mascara flakes under my lashes - NOT GOOD. What I found works best, is to use this product on the tips of my eyelashes after using my regular volume building mascara. I LOVED how it coated all my bottom lashes without looking a mess, but I was bummed when I saw afternoon flakes. I'll use what I have left, but I'm not sure if I would purchase it again. All mascaras should offer this awesome little brush though! — 3 years, 8 months agoThis review is: Helpful | Not helpful | Inappropriate | 3 of 3 people said helpful

Unique and Interesting Brush but not the best mascara for my lashes
I have the straight Asian lashes that don't hold a curl. The only way I can curl my lashes is to apply mascara first then curl with Sephora's mini plastic curler (no metal curlers). So this is what I did with this mascara. When first applied it clumps but then a few more brushes over the clumps and they are gone. The lashes do lengthen, thicken and fan out. But on my lashes it does not hold the curl very well. I prefer my current mascaras: Urban Decay Big Fatty mascara and Shu Uemura Ultimate Expression mascara. They are more lightweight and can hold a curl. Also it takes a lot longer to apply due to the small ball brush as opposed to the regular mascara brush. The advantage is by applying in small sections you have better control especially on inner corners. — 3 years, 8 months agoThis review is: Helpful | Not helpful | Inappropriate | 1 of 1 people said helpful

Love it!!
As a complete and TOTAL mascara junkie, I have found a way to use this and get amazingly lush and full and feathery lashes. I always wanted to try Guerlain's version of this type of mascara/brush combo (the original) but always balked at the high price tag. L'Oreal once again has come up with an amazing substitute that is wallet (and gas tank) friendly. I tried using this alone, and for what I want in a lash fringe, it didn't cut it. The more ridiculous volume for me, the better! I tried using this in different ways every day, and finally struck gold. I apply a regular lengthening/thickening mascara at the base of my lashes, then do another coat of the same throughout all of the lashes, then apply THIS on top. BAM!! It gives that extra oomph that my lashes were looking for. It separates so beautifully and gets into those inner corners, too. I like to take the applicator and kind of do a "windshield wiper" motion across my whole lashes to finish off. Great concept, poor execution
I attest to the many previous reviewers difficulty with the applicator. The sphere almost always has too much mascara on the bristles, so I would need to blot the excess before application. The first few times I did not wipe away the excess and I would end up having to try to separate my clumped lashes with my eyebrow grooming tool. The formula also dries really fast so that would make separating clumped lashes more difficult. I got the hang of it after several uses, but for me, I want a better formula and applicator for my money. The one plus is that if you do blot the excess mascara from the applicator, and you get the application process down, you have a really nice 'day' look, with separated lashes. — 3 years, 7 months agoThis review is: Helpful | Not helpful | Inappropriate | 1 of 1 people said helpful

great all around mascara
this is the first time i've used a round bristle wand, i quite enjoyed it. the wand and mascara formula gave me more volume and great length. the wand makes it easy to manipulate your lashes so you can seperate them better. i'm not sure if they make a water proof formula but i'd try it since this one can smear. Another thing i liked is my lashes didn't feel hard and bristly, they felt soft and natural with black shine, volume and length which is a first for me and mascaras, usually the dramatic looks make my lashes feel like boar hair. i got this as asample but i will be buying this from now on. — 3 years, 7 months agoThis review is: Helpful | Not helpful | Inappropriate | 0 of 1 people said helpful
