I don't fully understand why this product receives such good reviews. I have tried two different shades of this product. In both instances the product dried out, refused to apply evenly, and just looked clownish on my skin. It felt very heavy, even when using a light touch, and the color began to separate from the olay swirls after a week of use. I thought I just had a bad batch, but the same thing happened to my mother. Never a fan of powder blushes, I am always on the lookout for a creamy, moisturizing blush that has a dewy, natural, blendable finish. Clinique has a great one and for a drug store winner, I would try CoverGirl & Olay Simply Ageless Sculpting Blush. I got mine in Royal Plum and although it is not as moisturizing as I would like, the color is perfect. With a swipe of a finger across the blush and then on the apples of your cheeks, you can blend it to a natural finish. And there is no annoying teenage sparkle from glitter. As a big fan of cream blushes, I am always checking out the latest and greatest to hit the market. This cream blush will become a staple of my makeup drawer. It goes on really, really well and unlike many other similar products, allows plenty of time for blending before setting. All the shades are flattering, even with my very fair skin. It comes with a round sponge applicator, but fingers seem to be the best for blending and contouring - leave the sponge for application only. The color stays true through long days and warm weather and doesn't get washed out if you use a translucent powder to set your makeup. The color really lasts and you only have to use a little. I don't find it as easy to use as a brush on powder, and it is easy to overdo it. I received this from BzzAgent, and have to say, it might be one of the best Cover Girl products I have ever tried. The blush is nicely pigmented, and there is a generous amount of product - so much that you won't need to replace it very often.
