  Its a nice mascara

  My Friend has this mascara and one day while i was running late for school and didnt have time to put on my mascara i asked to use hers on the bus. I really like it! It coated my lashes really fast and did a good job at giving my lashes volume,but it really did not do a good job with the lenghting. I used rimmel sexy curves... with this and i loved the results!   I am not impressed by this mascara much at all. The brush is WAY too big and the formula clumps my lashes together to look a little spidery. I have to work too hard and too long to get a halfway decent fanned out look. I can achieve a decent look, but it's too time intensive for me. Too much product comes out on the wan...d as well.   This mascara gives you thick, dramatic, fake lash look in only a few sweeps. I could coat both eyes without having to put back the wand in the tube. If you like the fake lash, voluminous look, this is the best one for the price. The blackest black will give you the darkest color that will pop your eyes. November 7, 2009, 7:52 am

  Not so great

  When I think of collagen, I imagine my lashes soft and natural, but I was wrong. I bought this because I liked how the brush looked full and soft (in the picture). The brush size was okay, but the mascara comes out very hard and causes lashes to stick together. Clumps way too much even on the first coat, and does not give a... natural feathered look. I will probably give it to someone else because I do not like the feeling of hard lashes...save your money there are many mascaras out there! November 4, 2009, 5:21 pm

  disapointed in l'oreal!

  im disapointed ,! iv tried loads of mascaras and i know whats good and not !. this is rubbish and a waist of money! , its suposed to give volume! it clumped ! stays wet and sticky! im left with one big clumpd eyelash! .. and i feel like im tearin my eyelashes out when im washing it off! :( October 28, 2009, 12:28 pm

  Pros: The day I started wearing this I was asked by three people if I was using Latisse (the eyelash growing serum). It goes on THICK and FULL and PERFECT every time. Cons: I think the brush is too fat... and I wish it were curved so that I could apply it faster. Overall: After I ran out I went back to my old standby (Ma...beline's Volume Express) and I can tell you there is no comparison- L'Oreal Extra Volume Collagen Mascara does a better job at making my skinny lashes beef up.   This definitely thickens your lashes and makes them fuller-looking. You have to be careful with the application though to avoid a clumpy appearance, so apply your coats quickly before it dries. I do have some flaking though, but not as bad as other mascaras I have tried. The best way for me to review it is to compare it to ...L'oreal's Voluminous. I personally prefer a more defined lash look, and with Voluminous I can achieve a fuller look without completely sacrificing that. I do like the hourglass brush on this, it is bigger than usual but not difficult to work with, and the formula does not leave your lashes so hard, but still not as soft as Voluminous. Not the best but not a terrible mascara. October 6, 2009, 2:00 pm

  Very dry and clumpy!

  I bought this in waterproof and regular. Both formulas were very dry and hard to coat my lashes with. They also left little clumps at the end of my lashes. L'Oreal is usually my favorite mascara brand but this one just didn't cut it for me! September 29, 2009, 4:38 pm

  WOW!!- best for girls with thick-haired lashes

  *Soft brush *Minimal-No clumping *Separates my lashes Although there was no noticable lengthening or thickening, it helped separate my thick-haired lashes, which is all I care about! The brush was thick and soft all over(even the tip) so after I applied a few coats I used the tip of the brush to comb through my lashes onc...e more and- VOILA!- I achieved extra separation! My mom even mentioned that it looks like I have on fake lashes :-) It did take one or two tries to get used to the thick brush because if you're not careful, you'll get mascara all over your eyelids!
