  Not nearly as fabulous the body wash version, but so much better than the average bar. The little flecks of burnt brown sugar gently buff away dead skin and skin is nourished by the karite butter. August 17, 2009, 2:41 pm

  What is more feminine than the heavenly smell of Caress Evenly Gorgeous Bath Bar? I can tell you nothing. I have tested out the new Caress Evenly Gorgeous Bath Bar and I absolutely love it! First off the color is a sexy, shimmering, gold (gold/ yellow my favorite color). The scent remains true to the original Caress except ...this has more of a playful and daring side to it from the incorporation of Burnt Sugar and Karite Butter. One of the things that I love about Caress Evenly Gorgeous is that the scent does not wear off as soon as you wash it off.   I love this Beauty Bar!

  I love this boeauty bar. It made my skin feel really soft and smooth. I love the feel of the creamy moisturisers in the bar. It has the fragrance of brown sugar and karite butter which moisturizes the skin. The product is called 'Evenly Gorgeous, but I didn't see any difference in my skin tone. It sure felt good though.   Decent but I want more scrubby bits!

  I love to use the Beauty Bar to really focus on those areas that need a little extra exfoliating, although I do wish there more scrubby bits embedded throughout the bar (like Lush's Buffy) so that I could get a deeper exfoliation. August 9, 2009, 5:49 pm

  A good bar

  Normally, I hate using bars in the shower and much prefer a body wash. However, I was impressed by this beauty bar. Just like the body wash, it lives up to it's claims of exfoliating and moisturizing. Like mentioned by other reviewers, it's not so great to use when shaving because the exfoliation bits get stuck in your razo...r.   Like the Beauty Bar but not Good for Shaving

  I have always enjoyed Caress beauty bars. I feel like it's a little treat to buy them since they are a little pricey for a bar of "soap". I recently tried the new line from Caress called "Evenly Gorgeous." The beauty bar contains burnt brown sugar and karite butter so it gently exfoliates and moisturiz...es you skin. Here's what I thought: I like the beauty bar a lot. The scent is pleasant and the exfoliating actually worked. The negative aspects of the bar: - when it settled in the factory, only one side ended up with exfoliating features and the other side only had a little -you cannot use this bar to shave because it will ruin your razor and cause you to get cut It is hard to justify having a bar of soap for exfoliating and then having a separate soap for shaving, especially if you want to simplify your beauty routine or have limited space. Otherwise, I liked the scent and feel of the beauty bar and would purchase it as a gift for someone (for a beauty basket). August 6, 2009, 3:20 am

  Great, Just Not Fan of the Bar

  One of my favorite indulgences is a good body wash. I love to fill the entire bathroom with a wonderful aroma and then put on my make-up and dry my hair in it after my shower. While a nice expensive version is exactly that (hello, Philosophy - love you!), there are some drugstore versions stepping up to the plate. The new ...Evenly Gorgeous line from Caress comes in both a body wash ($4.49 for 18 oz.) and beauty bar ($2.99 for 2-bar package). I'm a body wash fan all the way. In fact, I don't know how I ever survived using bars all those years. They're just too darn inconvenient and messy (although they do tend to last much longer because I get way too carried away squirting the wash around!). My dad asked me if I had glitter on me the other day, and I thought hmmm...Once I thought about it, it was the Caress body wash glistening in the hot sun on my chest (if I'm not mistaken, it looks like there are tiny gold flecks in it?). It's formulated to even skin tone and gently moisturize with a nice aroma of burnt brown sugar and karite butter - yum! It does smell delightful and it's even a scent I think would work nice into the fall and the holidays (although I'm still using my eggnog shampoo right now, anyway!). The best is you aren't breaking the bank, but keeping that luscious aroma around. No boring shower for this beauty junkie. Bye, bye vanilla - hello burnt brown sugar! August 5, 2009, 12:21 pm

  Quality at a Great Price!

  Perfect for people who love the scent of the Body Wash but prefer solid soaps. The soap is exfoliating as well as moisturizing and has the same delicious scent. I was really susprised by how much I liked the Beauty Bar, it lathers really well and doesn't dry out my skin at all like most solid soaps tend to do to my skin. August 5, 2009, 4:51 am
