Good, Not Great

Too Dark to be Nude
Nude lip liners are great. They make other lip products last longer and can be worn under pretty much any color, saving you the money and effort it would take to find a liner that matches all your individual lipstick colors. I thought that no matter what the skin tone, Smashbox wo...read moreuld have something for everyone. Unfortunately, even the lightest shades were too dark for me. They showed up brown or a darkish pink. These weren't colors that would allow the true color of my lip products to show. For reference, I have very fair skin and medium brown hair. My lips are pretty fair with a pink hue to them. After trying out two of the lightest colors Smashbox carried in this line, I had to return them to Sephora because neither did what I had hoped. So my search for the perfect nude liner continues. Fair is to too sheer

Nude base for gloss
I don't usually wear lip liner, but I wanted to try a nude base for my glosses, so I bought it in "Fair". I think it's a nice lip liner for creating a nude lip, since it lasts fairly long and matches my lips pretty well. Great nude
The color of this lip liner is perfect. I purchased the light and it is an exact match to my lip color. The pencil goes on extremely smooth and can be worn with any color lipstick, eliminating the need for numerous lip liners . I am concerned about trimming it tho , as it is very thin and dulls after just a couple of uses. Love it!
I bought this lip liner in "Fair". It gave me a base for the perfect nude lip color and stayed on for hours! I was very impressed with this liner. Too Expensive!
I love the color and everything about this pencil - BUT it is not a retractable liner so you obviously have to sharpen it. Problem is that it runs out SOOOO fast! Like, faster then any other I have ever purchased...This review is: Helpful | Not helpful | Inappropriate | 0 of 0 people said helpful
