Stiff and undefined...
I have semi-fine, wavy hair which I wear wavy a lot of the time and straight sometimes. This mousse did not do it for me; it left my hair stiff and undefined; my waves actually looked stiff and straighter. Don't Tousle Me
I really like most of the products that Herbal Essence makes, especially the shampoos and conditioners-they ALL smell fabulous, even this one. But it really did not do much for my hair that the condioner did not already do. Did not give it much body or shape, even the "tousled" shape it advertised. I will go back to Garnier or one of my staples and just stick with the shampoo and conditioner here. Leaves hair soft and curls well but doesn't last all day
I have thick wavy/curly hair that is pretty frizzy when I don't put mousse and gel in it. I've been using this mousse for maybe a year? I used to use suave mousse which is a little cheaper but I don't think it worked as well and it felt kind of sticky. Now I use this mousse with garnier fructis curling spray gel (I run a couple handfuls if mousse through damp hair and flip my head upside down then run some gel through my hair and then another handful of mousse). I feel like the herbal essences tousling mousse really does leave my hair tousled but pretty tamed. It looks really good in the beginning of the day, but by the end of the day I'm usually rocking an afro (I'm white). Of course I wouldn't expect my hair to be perfect at the end of the day with any product! When I use both the gel and the mousse my curls become way more defined and my hair looks great usually. I use kind of a lot of it and my hair never feels "crunchy". When I first started using this mousse it didn't look that great but then I developed a better routine and got the hang of it. When I bought it I was actually looking for a mousse that would just give my hair more defined waves but this definitely made it curlier. My sister has very straight, thinner hair and this mouse doesn't do anything to her hair, so I would recommend it for mostly curly haired girls. And i do go through it pretty quickly (which my mom doesn't understand because the has flat, short hair). Not so great

Smells great
I've been using this for a few years. It makes my hair smell great and people noticed it. but It doesn't really do it's job. I use this because my hair is already wavy so it just makes it soft, smell good and messy. To be honest, it has those days when it doesn't do anything and then there are days when it create beautiful waves. Works great for my hair!
