I used to use it...

Made my hair look like it was still wet..
CliniqueLover (265 reviews)I only used a small dollop of this and made sure to evenly distribute it throughout my hair and when my hair fnally dried it looked terrible. It was all sticky and it literally looked like I had just stepped out of the shower. It gets a three because it smells good but other than that it's awful. — 1 year, 3 months agoThis review is: Helpful | Not helpful | Inappropriate | 0 of 0 people said helpful

its a ghost
corizotti (540 reviews)this product disapeared into my hair and as far as i could tell, it didnt do anything! it smells good, but the whole line does and since i used other products from the same line my hair smelled like this anyway. the product is a ghost, not a mousse. thank goodness it isnt expensive. — 2 years, 4 months agoThis review is: Helpful | Not helpful | Inappropriate | 0 of 1 people said helpful

Does the job ok
yestfl (120 reviews)I have thick, unruly, curly hair. I use this product when my hair is wet to make it look like it's under control. Ok, so when I first put it on, I twist my curls to give them shape. It works while it's still kinda wet, and it looks good for a little bit. However, a few hours later, it looks like a haven't put anything on! Specially if I go dancing, and I move a lot, and sweat some. My hair looks frizzy and hard to the touch, oh and did i forget to say tangled! I do like the way it smells, though. Sometimes I use this product in combination with Moroccan Oil, and it manages to stay in place for a while, if i am not moving too much. I use it, but it's not the best mousse out there. I prefer much the Suave mousse, it's cheaper and better. — 4 months, 1 week agoThis review is: Helpful | Not helpful | Inappropriate | 0 of 0 people said helpful

Enhances what I already have
MLC512 (272 reviews)I have naturally wavey hair so using this with the spray gel and a diffuser gives me waves and a few spiral curls! Love it for days when I don't want to take the time to straighten my hair! — 2 years, 3 months agoThis review is: Helpful | Not helpful | Inappropriate | 1 of 1 people said helpful

No Hold
amygab1126 (240 reviews)I had high hopes for this mousse, given the appealing ads, pretty bottle, and delicious scent. However, I don't think this had any effect on my hair at all, short of some added softness. It didn't add volume, it didn't add definition to my layers, it didn't help hold my curls and waves - nothing. Even using a very generous amount, I got no style-assisting results from this. Ignore the tempting ad campaign. This product doesn't deliver. — 2 years, 8 months agoThis review is: Helpful | Not helpful | Inappropriate | 4 of 5 people said helpful

16 Best Heat Styling Products -
nice & lightweight with perfect control for makin' waves
BeautyJunkieAmber (231 reviews)Okay, so maybe I’m not even in the ballpark of perfect like the model! But I did really like the products, it was pretty easy to achieve a more soft and tousled look so it’s an appropriate name for the collection. I used the Tousle Me Softly shampoo & conditioner then towel dried my hair until it was closer to damp than wet. I applied the Tousle Me Softly mousse all over my hair and lightly combed through my hair with my fingers. I also sprayed a little bit of the collection’s spray gel onto my roots just for good measure! I twisted parts of my hair up (about 5 sections) and away from my face and clipped them into place, letting them down as I dried that section with high heat, keeping the shape of the twist intact as I was drying it. You can cup the twist in your hand and lightly unwind it as it gets drier, I find that helps define more of a wave pattern instead of a curl– it’s all about the waves! Once my hair was dry, I lightly broke apart some of the tighter twisted sections into place with my fingers, almost raking them through then sprayed a decent amount of the Tousle Me Softly hairspray, and wah-lah! I was happy with the result, beach waves for a girl with shorter hair! It looks totally gorge on you girls with longer hair, I’m totally envious by the way. — 2 years, 11 months agoThis review is: Helpful | Not helpful | Inappropriate | 3 of 3 people said helpful

Stiff and undefined...
cherrypie (195 reviews)I have semi-fine, wavy hair which I wear wavy a lot of the time and straight sometimes. This mousse did not do it for me; it left my hair stiff and undefined; my waves actually looked stiff and straighter. The hold was soft and it smells really good, but it did not come through for defining my naturally wavy hair. — 2 years, 8 months agoThis review is: Helpful | Not helpful | Inappropriate | 1 of 1 people said helpful

Don't Tousle Me
OhMandy (199 reviews)I really like most of the products that Herbal Essence makes, especially the shampoos and conditioners-they ALL smell fabulous, even this one. But it really did not do much for my hair that the condioner did not already do. Did not give it much body or shape, even the "tousled" shape it advertised. I will go back to Garnier or one of my staples and just stick with the shampoo and conditioner here. The smell is not enough to keep me on it. — 2 years, 6 months agoThis review is: Helpful | Not helpful | Inappropriate | 0 of 0 people said helpful

Really Good for Fine, Wavy/Curly Hair
jenn8779 (65 reviews)This mousse was a pleasant surprise for me! My hair is fine but I have a lot of it and its a wavy to curly texture. I find that gels are too heavy for my hair and weigh it down but mousses usually make it stiff and "crunchy", which I hate. This was perfect for my hair type! It held well, defined my curls and cut down on the frizz without being heavy, sticky or crunchy. I tried combining it with the spray gel from the same line with less than desireable results- this combijnation did prove too heavy and my hair was more "crunchy" then with the mousse alone so I am sticking with just the one product. — 2 years, 8 months agoThis review is: Helpful | Not helpful | Inappropriate | 2 of 3 people said helpful
