Get long and separated lashes
Max Factor's 2000 Calorie Extreme Lash Plumper mascara is by no means the best mascara out there, but it is pretty decent. While I found it to be more of a lengthening and defining mascara (you can get long spidery lashes with this), it also did not hold a curl like I wished it could. I was surprised to find that I really liked the way this new mascara brush worked on my lashes. Extreme Volume!
If you're pretty set in the length and curl departments and are just looking for some seriously dramatic volume, Max Factor's 2000 Calorie Extreme Lash Plumper is the mascara for you! At first blush I wasn't all that wowed by the formula--it was nice but a little natural looking for my liking. BUT one morning I happened to apply one coat of mascara, move away from my vanity to look for my LashBla...read morest to compare, ended up not finding it, then applied a second coat of 2000 Calorie Extreme over the now dry first coat, and va-va-va-vom! Serious serious volume--I'm talking luscious, thick, fat lashes that you just can't stop admiring. 2000 Calorie Extreme isn't all that exceptional in terms of length and curl (mediocre length, not so great curl), but the volume is just killer and makes the macara worth checking out for that aspect alone. Over the weekend I had the opportunity to test Max Factor's 2000 Calorie Extreme Lash Plumper in #402 Black Velvet. I had high hopes for the mascara, but unfortunately it did not work for me. The most I was able to achieve from it was lash separation. There was no lengthening and no volume at all. Oh, and I will tell you that I did apply three coats to each side. 10 Best Mascaras -- EVER -
I love it!
I haven't put this mascara down for three weeks now. It's incredible. Great volume and length and NO CLUMPS! With any mascara, I rate it based on clumpness and it can be very difficult to find a great mascara at an affordable price that doesn't clump. Pretty Decent Mascara
Max Factor's new 2000 Calorie Extreme mascara isn't just a mascara, but is also a "lash plumper" according to MF. I guess this makes it a volumizing formula. Overall, I find it perfectly acceptable as a mascara but I wasn't totally knocked out by it. It goes on smoothly, coats evenly, doesn't clump up, doesn't flake or smudge during the day. It holds a curl well. The black is nicely blac...read morek, not grey. But overall I was left thinking "That's it?" after using it. Gave it all !
First look at the Max Factor 2000 Calorie Mascara and you will not miss its resemblance to Lash Blast from CG. If you remember my review of Lash Blast and my rants there after, you know that it did not work on me. The whole world was singing its praise and I moved away to a corner and started my own "I don't like Lash Blast" gang. That being said I am happy to report this Lash Blast Look...read more - A - Like , I like ! The 2000 Calorie Mascara has a thick wand but I found it to be softer than Lash Blast's. The color is deep and totally fab ! In just a couple of coats I could feel longer, well defined lashes popping out with oodles of volume ! Totally surprising because a lot of reviewers online haven't been that unanimous in their love for this product. But to me its extraordinary ! I have really bad lashes, man ! They are average length, and poke downwards so if they work on me rest assured they will work pretty good on you. Also,no fall outs . I think fall outs are in the past as far as mascaras these days are concerned. Its been a while since tried one that gave me the polka dot effect under my eyes. My Lashes or False Eyelashes?
2000 Calorie Extreme Lash Plumper made my lashes Extremely long! In fact, when I was trying it out I put it on before I went to dinner with my husband. He gave me this look and "eyed" me, if you know what I mean - and I gave him a confused look back (typical me!). I then said "WHAT?"
