good formula, bad brush
i like that this thick, dark mascara left me with defined and not too hard lashes, but i DONT like the brush. its too short-bristled and the end is just a nub! i do realy like the mascara tho, my lashes look nice and im not afraid that theyll break off using this! [-1* for the bad brush] — 4 years agoThis review is: Helpful | Not helpful | Inappropriate | 0 of 0 people said helpful

Fine, not the best
This is an ok mascara if you just need to separate your lashes. For me, this didn't fully do the job because I usually like mascaras to elongate and volumize my lashes. — 4 years agoThis review is: Helpful | Not helpful | Inappropriate | 0 of 0 people said helpful

Can't beat it!
I’ve got some WIMPY lashes, I admit. But the 2000 Calorie Extreme helps me fake it, for sure. I would agree with Max Factor’s claim of it increasing the thickness of your lashes up to 200%! — 4 years, 1 month agoThis review is: Helpful | Not helpful | Inappropriate | 0 of 0 people said helpful

I will move to Russia to buy this dammit!
I absolutely love all Max Factor mascaras. When they say they are waterproof and smudgeproof, they mean it. You can seriously sleep in this stuff and it will not leave a trace under the eyes or anywhere else. I love what it does for my lashes and in most cases I am asked if I wear falsies. This is the best mascara ever. — 3 years, 4 months agoThis review is: Helpful | Not helpful | Inappropriate | 0 of 0 people said helpful

Max Factor 2000 Calorie Mascara
I tried this product because it was mentioned in O Magazine. At first, I really liked the product. But, the more I use, the more issues I find. I have to put on 2-3 coats to make my lashes stand up. By then, some lashes stick together. Sometimes it clumps and leaves flakes under my lashes. O Magazine says that Max Factor will stop selling its products in the US after the first of the year. I've seen the product on clearance several times. I'd recommend trying it on sale, that way it's not a huge loss if you don't like it. Maybe it'll work better for you. BTW, I tried it in the Brown/Black shade. — 3 years, 4 months agoThis review is: Helpful | Not helpful | Inappropriate | 0 of 0 people said helpful

This Mascara is great!
I work long days and this mascara looks as good in the evening as when I put it on. I get complements on my eyes all the time, and this mascara is is to blame! It goes on quickly, so you don't have to do 100 coats, maybe 2 or 3, although it looks like 100! It lengthens and volumizes my lashes. I have tries many mascaras over the years, and this is my favorite. I am on my third tube. The one thing bad about it is you must change to a new tube, as encouraged, at the three month mark or the mascara will dry slightly in the tube and then flake easier on the eyes. — 3 years, 6 months agoThis review is: Helpful | Not helpful | Inappropriate | 2 of 2 people said helpful

Identical to Covergirl's LashBlast Volume Blasting Waterproof Mascara
I think this mascara is identical to Covergirl's LashBlast Volume Blasting Waterproof Mascara. The only difference... the color of the packaging. — 3 years, 7 months agoThis review is: Helpful | Not helpful | Inappropriate | 0 of 0 people said helpful

Stick to regular 2000 calorie mascara
I love Max Factor products, especially their mascara - they are quality products w/ good pigments at an extremely fair price. However, I am not a fan of this mascara - while the formula itself is very wearable (goes on smoothly and lasts all day, no flaking of clumping), the brush is just TOO BIG. It honestly doesn't make any sense! It makes it extremely difficult to apply without getting it all over your eyes. I'm going back to the normal 2000 calorie mascara (I use the waterproof kind, it's wonderful), which is also about $3 cheaper. — 3 years, 8 months agoThis review is: Helpful | Not helpful | Inappropriate | 0 of 0 people said helpful
