I had been searching far and wide for the perfect mascara for me. I've tried everything from Dior to Maybeline and never found something that I instantly fell in love with. I found a sample of this Mascara in one of my drawers and decided to try it and was glad I did! I have eyelashes that grow in separate directions on one eye so I can never get full eyelashes. Since this brush really separates the lashes I haven't had that problem since I started using it! I will definitely buy this mascara again...and again and again, it's my holy grail of mascara. So glad I got that sample! I do *not* have lush, full, thick natural lashes, so I'm always on the hunt for a mascara that makes me look like I have all those things. Winner! The Buxom mascara is fantastic. One of the things I like best (beyond the fact that it makes me look like I'm wearing false eyelashes) is that my eyelashes stay soft. They don't get brittle and funky feeling. There's minimal smudging, but I am 100% willing to deal with that in return for lashes like these. And it's truly, truly minimal. I received a sample of this from Sephora. It definitely has it's good points. It separates well, doesn't clump. But I didn't get much thickening or lengthening from it. It gave me a nice look, but more natural than I was expecting from something called "Buxom". I usually don't like this type of brush, but this one was nice to use. I have a terrible problem with getting the raccoon eye look under my eyes from nearly every mascara I try. I got a deluxe sample of this mascara. Although I do like the length of the brush, I wish the bristles were just a tiny bit longer. Then again the length of the brush can be a little bit hard to maneuver. The formula stays jet black and doesn't clump on my lashes. I love DiorShow, but for everyday use it's expensive. So I have been grudgingly seeking a less expensive mascara that I wont hate, and this it! I love this mascara! Two coats and I'm the door! No Clumping, smudging dark separated voluminous lashes. I loved this mascara when I first got it! It was so lengthening, and it really separated all my lashes to make me look like I had a million! I was upset when it dried it, and it also flakes after lots of use, so I wish it lasted longer without flaking. OMGosh, this is the bomb! I got this for free from Sephora in their 500 pt Buxom gift set and really wasn't that excited about it. I wear a lot of mascara and stick with what works. I don't have time to try out whats gonna be flakey, whats gonna run etc. So I either use lancomes Hynose or Defin@#@# (It wont let me write the real name)l.I also use maybellines the colossal volume express. If your looking for volume its a great drugstore alternative. Anyhow, point is with mascara I know what I like and dont stray. When I opened my little buxom package out of curiosity I opened the mascara, and it interested me. The wand was like nothing I have ever seen before. It looked like it would give great coverage so out of curiosity I had to try. To my delight this mascara turned out to suprisingly be the BEST mascara I have ever tried...WOW!! It gives great volume and separates the lashes at the same time. My lashes have never looked better. I didn't have a problem with the way the looked before but now that I see how good they can look I have found my HG mascara, bye bye Lancome, Hello Buxom! I'm not sure I understand the hype that comes wiht this mascara. The brush is way too big, and can often leave you with mascara marks on your face. The formulation of the mascara itself is too "wet" as opposed to waxy and does not hold a curl to save its life!
