It helps maintain the health of your hair as well as keeping your hair color fresh and rich. It calms down the frizzies, gives great shine, and doesn't weigh down even the finest of hair. For myself and many of my clients, this is truly hands down the best treatment for any colored hair. I can't recommend the benefits that this product gives enough. I hope that this product does have 'protective treatment', but I wasn't impressed with the conditioning properties. My hair was nice and shiny, but I just wasn't impressed with the overall texture of my hair after using it. It helps the color stay vibrant longer and hydrates fabulously.
