It does add shine
I hope that this product does have 'protective treatment', but I wasn't impressed with the conditioning properties. My hair was nice and shiny, but I just wasn't impressed with the overall texture of my hair after using it. Deep conditioning!

A great choice
As a former stylist/colorist, I can tell you that I recommended this product more times than I could ever count to my clients with color-treated hair. It helps the color stay vibrant longer and hydrates fabulously. Lives up to its Name!
I have very thick hair, so I use this as a daily conditioner...It is TOP NOTCH! Leaves hair shiny, silky, and healthy in appearance, plus it keeps color from fading. I loved this conditioner at the salon. My hair was soft and manageable for a few days but with frizzy hair I was very happy with the results. I plan on purchasing the Recovery product. One of the few that works for me

My favorite deep conditioner
