Lots of volume
I was really impressed with the brush for this mascara, the formula dries fairly quickly though and I did have some clumping issues. Good But A Tad Clumpy...
And definitely smelly! But, personally, I like the smell. One reviewer said it smelled like roses, and after reading that, I realized it's true. Perfume-y, like roses. As far as the actual mascara, I hate the fat tube and handle, as it's not comfortable to hold onto. I've actually dropped it a few times, making a mess and making me late. This mascara, like EVERY MASCARA, can be clumpy. The brush does a great job of depositing the product, almost too much so. Absolutely zero curl, but I always curl my lashes beforehand anyway. It glided on, but I got clumps after the second swipe. I have to really comb out my lashes with a clean spooly brush after each coat, to ensure an even look. My lashes were thicker, so I guess it did it's job. My friend uses this and once, she took out the wand and a bizarrely huge clump came out with the brush. It was only two weeks old! We laughed about that, but the product works beautifully on her. (She has nice, thick lashes to begin with.) All in all, I've purchased it twice and am fairly happy with the results. I go through phases where I'll prefer thicker lashes and then I'll decide I want longer lashes. Never Again
Never again am i gonna buy this product. It was my first time buying any of the maybelline mascaras, and well i decided to buy Maybelline Colossal Mascara. Huge mistake! It makes my eyes sting! Making it seem like if im crying! Colossal? Yes!
I found this to be a really good mascara. It made my lashes MUCH thicker, and still did a good job of separating them. It wore well without flaking. The brush is huge, but not difficult to maneuver. Love this mascara!
This is probably my favorite mascara of the moment. My lashes look amazing after I use it. The only reason I didn't give it a ten was because of the funny smell it has. Nothing Special
Very original and colorful packaging which I like but the actual mascara is not very good in my opinion. First off, the smell is not at all pleasant and very strong. Secondly, I didn't notice any lenghtening or volumizing. What a disappointment!
I had high hopes for this mascara but it didn't live up to my expectations. The brush is big, which I like, but that's where it's redeeming qualities end. The formula is quite thick and clumped very easily, after just one coat. My lashes stuck together and looked like spider legs (ewww). It also made them very crispy and when I removed my makeup at night, my lashes started falling out! Last thing: it has a very weird plastic-y smell. Good one
This was fairly impressive for the price. It definately adds big volume! It seperates easily and lasts a very long time. Great job Maybelline this is a really good one! I use this as my drug store back up so when i can't afford my expensive mascara I purchase this one! Clumpy!
This mascara is one of the clumpiest I have ever used! No matter how little or how much you use, it will be clumpy and it does not lengthen well. I guess the 'volume' you get is from clumps. The only reason it gets a 4 is because the black shade I got (it was pantent black or something like that) is the most beautiful black ever. Good for the price!
