Gentle Cleanser

I love Origins products and have yet to find one that does not work for me. I was looking for a gentle cleanser to use during the winter months that would be more moisturizing than a gel cleanser or the Checks and Balances cleanser I have (made for combination skin). I was expecting this cleanser to be more creamy than it is. It is like a milky white gel, less creamy than the Checks and Balance...read mores even. It lathers a bit, but not much. I'm glad it doesn't foam up, but just wish it was more creamy and nourishing feeling. This works well with the Clarisonic, which I use at night after removing my makeup with an oil cleanser. However, I mostly use this on its own in the morning because it is gentle and does not leave my skin too stripped. My skin is left feeling clean and refreshed after using. The smell is similar to most Origins products. It is not much to my liking, but it is not overly strong or irritating. I will continue to use this until it is gone, but I don't think I will purchase this again. I'd prefer something more moisturizing for the winter season.

just ok

a perfect world cleanser works well if you only have a small amount of make up on. I prefer their checks and balances cleanser better. this leaves skin a little greasy feeling, wouldn't buy again.

Yuck - threw it away

Unfortunately, the smell is what completely turned me off from this product. It has an overly sweet, almost alcohol drink (think midori sour) smell to it that I REALLY don't want to smell when washing my face. I actually threw this one in the trash.

A perfect cleanser..

I love to use this in combination with their microexfoliant. It leaves my skin incredibly soft and smooth and is great at taking care of redness and irritation after a rough skin day. It's clean rinsing and takes off waterproof makeup without massive scrubbing or taking a lot of time. The smell isn't bad and goes away after it's rinsed off. Best part is that every time I have shopped at Origins they love to add free stuff to your bag. They'll even do a mini facial and make up application so you can have a chance to try their products.

Ooooh the scent

Gentle cleanser, but the scent. Yummy. I believe mango-based. I asked Origins if they had this scent, but alas just they yucky ginger. Why would anyone want to smell like ginger.

Favorite

This is one of my favorite face cleansers. You just need a tiny amount to get great lather & it doesn't leave my face dried out afterwards. I love Origins.

Perfectly irritating fragrance.

It's not even close to a perfect world for your skin when your cleanser contains irritants such as bergamot, spearmint, and lemon peel oils. All of these and many more plant ingredients in this water soluble cleanser are problematic for skin, and are a must to keep away from the eye area. Just okay

I won't repurchase. It cleaned alright but I felt the need to use a toner after cleansing. The fragrance is very strong! So if you are sensitive to that, you will not like this, or the origins line much.

LOVE THIS!

I've been using this product for about a week now and loved it the first night I used it. It literally makes my face "squeaky clean". I broke out a little bit, but I assume that's due to changing cleansers. It's a nice cleanser, love the smell, the texture- everything! This is my first Origins product and I can't wait to try more.
