not bad, but...
I wanted to get a mineral foundation for days when I don't have time to use separate foundation and powder. I decided to try this. I like the light coverage. However, there's a bit of a shimmer to this which I'm not thrilled about. It doesn't keep oil at bay for very long. It's good to use if you need to go out for quick errands or going out for a quick lunch. Not great for all day, though. — 2 years, 10 months agoThis review is: Helpful | Not helpful | Inappropriate | 1 of 1 people said helpful

Super messy & No coverage
I tried this and i have to say i used the standard amount i have always used for mineral foundations and i got no coverage none. I used more and still nothing! This is a very messy item and has tons of glow. I am going to return this. If you have perfect skin and just want some added glow go for it.. But if you need coverage don't waste you money. — 4 years, 2 months agoThis review is: Helpful | Not helpful | Inappropriate | 0 of 0 people said helpful

Terrible
I am so so so so so so glad that this product has been discontinued. For starters, this product has overly complicated packaging. After struggling to open this product, a puff of powder exploded onto my face. It had so much glitter in it that I was extremely hesitant to apply it on my face. I really wish that I would have just returned it to the store, because the coverage was so blotchy, spotty, and pore clogging, it was downright disgusting. The powder got everywhere and was super messy. There was no coverage whatsoever, and my skin actually looked worse. Plus I looked like Edward in Twilight when he hit the sun. Not at all the look that I was going for. Usually, I like Covergirl products for their low price and dependability, but I absolutely hate this product. A terrible product. I wish I could give it a zero out of ten. — 1 year, 3 months agoThis review is: Helpful | Not helpful | Inappropriate | 0 of 0 people said helpful

Terrible!
Completely clogged my pores and caused me to break out. It is also not user friendly at all. It offers a lot of coverage so I use it occasionally, but I don't recommend using it all the time. — 2 years, 2 months agoThis review is: Helpful | Not helpful | Inappropriate | 0 of 0 people said helpful

may as well have been empty
This is the worst makeup i have ever tried. The design concept is good but the product is terrible. My setting powder covers better than this does. It does not stay on your face, even for one minute. And if you can get it to it drys out your skin and makes you look orange-ish. I tried to return it but the store wouldn't let me, cost me about $12 too. — 2 years, 4 months agoThis review is: Helpful | Not helpful | Inappropriate | 1 of 1 people said helpful

Horrible product!
After falling in love with the Bare Minerals brand I decided to try and save a couple bucks by buying this product. It sounded like the same thing. I was so wrong! The brush feels like steel wool on your skin no matter how lightly you try to apply with the pressure. Once you get it on the coverage is horrible. No coverage at all, not even for shine. I tried putting it in another container and using my good brushes to apply but it still does nothing except cause a rash on my face every time I used it. Don't waste your money on it unless you like to feed your garbage can! — 2 years, 9 months agoThis review is: Helpful | Not helpful | Inappropriate | 2 of 2 people said helpful

I disagree!
I found that this foundation, used correctly and not caked on, worked better than other powder foundations I have used. My face didn't sparkle nor were my pores clogged. Of course, I used it sparingly, as you don't need to apply a lot in order for it to work. For trouble spots, I just added a wee bit more, and it worked fine. Smooth and silky finish that didn't wear off too soon, although all powders do wear off eventually. I also found that the color matched my skin tone, and for me, that is a hard thing to do! I am one of those rare people who is in both key colors, which is great for being able to wear any color of clothing or eye/lip color, but sucks when trying to match foundations! — 2 years, 9 months agoThis review is: Helpful | Not helpful | Inappropriate | 1 of 1 people said helpful

this is my personal opinion and im not exagerating like some people on here do
i did like this product because it was the perfect coverage. i dont like to wear too much makeup because i know its bad for acne prone skin and i really liked this product because allthough it didnt cover my acne completely it did just enough to make me feel confident. Also it stayed on almost all day even during physical education! i noticed that some people on here talked about it making you look orange and i think that was probably because the color was too dark for you or because you put too much on because it always turns out the perfect color for me. i also noticed that people said it was too shimmery and personally i didnt notice any shimmer before now but i looked in the mirror and i knnnnnnndaaaa noticed it and i think it makes me kinda glow(in a good way) you can barely see the shimmery quality though — 3 years agoThis review is: Helpful | Not helpful | Inappropriate | 1 of 1 people said helpful

I use it as a bronzer!
The foundation was too streaky, sparkly, and dark for its intended use, so I use it as a bronzer. I would not buy this again or recommend it to anyone. — 3 years, 2 months agoThis review is: Helpful | Not helpful | Inappropriate | 0 of 0 people said helpful
