Oily Gals Will Stray

This product is not for oily, sensitive, or problematic skinned. This product contains whether inactive or active ingredients that can aggravate skin conditions. Chemical sunscreen is definitely one of them. At the date of this review being October 2009 - this is the rival of MUFE's HD foundation, however, I don't see it competiting too long in the market for it. Three hours after initial application, I found this product sitting atop of my skin instead of being embraced onto my facial surface; I wanted to wash this off. I felt like a greasy mess. This product also will need a stippling brush, any other brushes than are denser will cause streaking. Repurchase? No thank you.

Not bad

I am definitely a MAC fan girl!! I have found that Studio Sculpt is the foundation to use on nights when I am looking for complete coverage, but not for my day look. Just a dab is perfect when applying to both my face and neck. The texture of SS is creamy and goes on my dry sports smoothly without caking. I highly recommend this product for someone looking for a full coverage foundation. It looks great in pictures too!!

An amazing foundation for dry skin!

I am in love with this foundation. The color seemed a bit "off" when I applied it....it appeared too orange. Nonetheless, I kept it on to see if it was worth purchasing in another color. The texture and consistency are perfect for my dry skin. It made my skin soft to the touch. I had read many reviews with conflicting information regarding its staying power....it lasted all day for me and I t...read moreested it by pressing it against a tissue and absolutely no color was transferred. I believe that the people complaining have oily skin...this is not a product for oily skin, so I'm not sure why they are using it to begin with....but as the day went on, I was in both daylight and harsh fluorescent lights, and my skin was perfect. The color matched perfectly. Perhaps I imagined the wrong color at the start because it seemed too good to be true? This is my new favorite. Light and skin perfecting. Definitely going to be my day go-to foundation.

Not great for olive skin

This foundation was great! First foundation that I actually used the whole tube of! It wasn't oily and had great coverage. Although all those things are great, but if you have more of a olive skin tone then this product may not be worth buying. I have a olive skin tone and for me it would go on my color at first and then through out the day start to turn to a more lighter/grayish color.

It's just not that great...

After Korres discontinued my favorite foundation, I bought MAC's studio Sculpt in my equivalent shade. The coloring is right, and that's never an issue with MAC, but the finish is terrible for me, no matter what I do with this foundation. I've tried putting it on with fingers, various brushes, and sponges, and nothing smoothes it out to an invisible finish. My old Korres liquid and my newer BB ...read moreand DD creams are all easily made invisible, but this foundation always looks cakey and bad. Even with facial primer, there's not a thing I can do with it. This one is going to have to get tossed.

amazing coverage

I have really dry skin during winter months and this product is awesome... It only takes a tiny amount...it's completely a Full coverage foundation ... stays on all day... and doesn't flare up my rosacea or irritate my skin...

Best Foundation For Work

I work 10 hour days, in South Florida. My requirement at 52, is a Medium coverage foundation that lasts without touch up. Excellent flawless coverage,better than Teint Idole or Double Wear by Lauder. Make sure to use the pink egg sponge to get even coverage.

HG Foundation

I'm on my second tube of this stuff and still loving it. It's a nice buildable full coverage foundation that can be applied lots of different ways for different effects. Apply with a brush for flawless, airbrished looking skin, OR with your fingers for a more natural, but still full coverage, finish. FAVORITE

I have done many photoshoots as well as many events and this by far is the best foundation i have ever worn. I have spent so much money on covergirl maybelle dior chanel bobbie brown etc. and this is truly the best! Full coverage and i dont even need concealor , i do reccomend gettin a stipple brush i got mine for $3 elf product and it works fabulous! Highly reccomend, i have used this for over 2 1/2 years and it lasts so long! You are definitely getting your moneys worth!
