A Professional-Type Concealer
I'm stunned the NYX is able to offer this long-lasting jar for only $5.00. I love the color selection, with everything from natural shades to yellow (appropriate for almost all women), and orange, lavender, and green to correct discolorations and/or uneven skin tone. This is a bit heavier than concealers you normally find, but it stays PUT on blemishes. It works wonders on disguising dark circles under eyes. I highly suggest using a concealer brush for best results. Good Concealer
I am always searching for a great concealer, and for the price of NYX, this lives up to my expectations. NYX has a good color selection. It's creamy, and I apply it with a small makeup brush by stippling it under my eyes. It completely covers my dark circles (lovely) and any other imperfections. It does not crease at all because I use Stay Don't Stray by Benefit. I have used Benefit Erase Paste which is pricey and does not have enough shades from which to choose. I swear by this concealer. The only disadvantage is that you cannot test it, but stores that carry it like ULTA or Amazon let you return used items. I haven't seen it anywhere else other than ULTA or Amazon. That being the case, I bought 2 since they are very reasonably priced. I store the other one in the refrigerator to keep it fresh. I wanted to love it, after reading all the rave reviews...
but I found it too heavy. Didn't like it on my acne scars/hyperpigmentation, and it creased badly under my eyes. It is inexpensive, and will probably last you awhile even though it's a small jar. These jar concealers work!
I bought yellow, green, and beige concealers from NYX because I love NYX cosmetics and they are an awesome price. The yellow works great under my eyes to get rid of those gross blue/black undereye bags. I use a small concealer brush and apply the yellow underneath my eyes, blend, and it does its job, CONCEALS! I also bought the green to combat the redness I have on my cheeks, eyebrows, and nose. I used the same small concealer brush, applied the green concealer in just the red areas and used a makeup sponge to pat and blend the product. It makes your face look super white and weird, but after you apply your foundation or powder it all blends together and looks excellent. Last concealer I bought was the beige color which is a pretty medium color that matches my skin. I used my concealer brush and put a little over the areas where I applied the yellow and green. I blended with a sponge and my skin looked natural and flawless!! i ended up buying these jars for $2 a pop because they had an awesome 40% off sale at Ulta. My everyday concealer
It's a heavy duty concealer, comes in a variety of shades (they even have yellow, green and orange correctors), glides on the skin like butter, but stays on all day. Doesn't crease, doesn't emphasise fine lines, and one little jar goes a long way. I use it every day and yet my jar still has quite a lot of product left. I'm considering thowing mine away because it's been so long since I've had it. One thing you might not like is the fact that you have to use a brush to get the product out of the jar. Very creamy
I use this for my under eye dark circles. Covers the blueish purple shadows very nicely and I'd say its about medium to full coverage. I do notice a little creasing sometimes around the fine lines though but that isn't surprising since the concealer is very creamy. Also my eyeliner on the lower lid line does slide down a bit if I have this on but if set with powder it isn't a problem. Goes on smoothly and blends out well. I use it every day. I've never found a concealer I liked. This was a cheap try at concealer again. It looks like every other concealer I've used....cakey. I use a primer, I've used my finger, a brush, a sponge, and I got pretty much the same result every time. its a pretty good concealer.. although it can be a bit heavy. It works best when used with a concealer brush or sometimes I even use an elf crease brush. pretty good
