Best lip gloss purchase I have made

I'm a bit bummed that target quit carrying Soap and Glory. I loved it when the products went on sale!!! I bought the 3 pack of lip glosses over two years ago and am about half way through two of the tubes- the third I haven't even cracked yet. The gloss lasts and lasts and it really does plump my lips. However, I find that it really only works if it can make contact with your lips, in otherwords don't expect to experience the full effect if you put it over lipstick or Chapstick. It also takes a few minutes before I start to feel the tingle that lets me know that it's working. I usually put it on before I leave the house and then apply lipstick in the car about 5 minutes later. It works well over matte lipstains as well, I would just advise allowing a few minutes for the stain to dry down and set before gloss application. I will say that this gloss is pale, very lightly pigmented- I perfer it that way though, as it augments my lips and I can choose any color of lipstain or stick to work with it. My lips look fuller. It may be the gloss. This is the glossiest gloss ever. Even glossier than MAC lipglass. This pulls together your look and makes your lips look amazingly kissable (though that is not the case, it is very sticky lol). I love this stuff, It gives a nice tingle and the Candy color works really well for my olive complexion. The plumping action is minimal, but it does drown out the vertical lip lines that I hate! I guess the idea here is that whatever miracle molecule they put into this stuff, it soaks into your lips, then explodes to ten times its size when it comes into contact with water, thus pushing your lip's skin cells ever so slightly further away from each other. And it works too... a little bit. It's one of those emphasize-what-you-already-got deals, but it still creates a nice little confidence-boosting tingle in your lips that subconsciously makes you push your lips out a little bit more to make them look fuller. And it's pretty and glossy, reflecting light to make them look even bigger. So some of it is science, some of it is psychology, and some of it is light-based illusion. But seriously, who cares why it works, if it makes them seem even a little fuller! This is much more of a gloss, than a colour. It's more transparent than any gloss designed to colour your lips. It is a little sticky, but I can deal with that. It actually smells edible, like chocolate! Some complain that the tingling "hurts", which I can't agree with. Now it claims it plump lips, I do think it does, but upto a point. You have to be realistic. You aren't going to turn into Angelina Jolie.
