Frederic Fekkai Salon Color Reviews

Better than any other kit and good as a salon
radar626 (318 reviews)I just colored my hair with 6W (Cindy - Light Golden Brown) and I LOVE the results. I'm 34 and have been coloring my hair for at least 10 years because I started going grey so early. I can honestly say I have used pretty much every brand of the DIY color and various salon only brands. This color covered my greys and left... my hair in amazing condition. It was so soft that my husband couldn't keep from touching it. It was much easier than I thought it would be to use. The smell was much better than almost any other brand I've used. No burning either as some hair kits can do. It's more expensive than any other DIY kits, but it's still much cheaper than a salon and the results are as good as or better. It's been two weeks and my color is still vibrant and my hair is glossy. No peek-through greys either! For me, paying $30.00 is worth the cost. I don't have to color my hair as frequently (because of fading or the color not covering the greys) or use products to compensate for the damage the color did to my hair — 1 year, 11 months agoThis review is: Helpful | Not helpful | Inappropriate | 4 of 5 people said helpful

worth the price
LaurelJ (152 reviews)This product covered my grays, was simple to use, did not smell terrible, and left my hair in much nicer condition than other DIY hair color. So far I am happy with the staying power of this color as well. It is expensive for a box color, but the results are good, and it is still much cheaper than going to a salon. I will use this again — 1 year, 3 months agoThis review is: Helpful | Not helpful | Inappropriate | 3 of 3 people said helpful

pricey!
Cyberkitty70 (8 reviews)I just had to try this product due to all the hype it received, and I must say I really wasn't impressed. Yes the mixing tray and brush are nice, but definitely not worth 30 bucks. I found the hair color to be no better at covering my gray than any other brand for 5 bucks. And the color faded after just 2 weeks. I had high hopes, but would up disappointed — 2 years, 9 months agoThis review is: Helpful | Not helpful | Inappropriate | 3 of 4 people said helpful

amazing
CMBouchie (59 reviews)the ends of my hair are so fried and usually end up black compared to the rest of my color. This stops that. Love it. Yes pricey but still cheaper than a salon. — 3 years agoThis review is: Helpful | Not helpful | Inappropriate | 8 of 8 people said helpful

Best hair coloring kit I have ever used!
chris101868 (10 reviews)I have tried numerous drugstore brand hair coloring products over the years and this is the best hair coloring system I have found to date. Although a little pricey at $30, I found the results to be amazing. First it comes with a pre conditioner product so drier areas of your hair don't absorb too much color. It also includes a small tube of Frederic's 3 minute miracle, enough to last for at least 6 treatments after. With most hair color kits I found it difficult to blend my new color on the roots with the rest of my hair but with this color system it blended easily and looked so natural. Just stay within 2 shades of your natural color and make sure you chose according to your skin tone. — 3 years agoThis review is: Helpful | Not helpful | Inappropriate | 11 of 12 people said helpful
