It a waste

The trick is using correctly
I absolutely love this product and am so sad to see it going off the shelvs. I have struggled with facial hair for so long and this is by far the best product i've used in terms of how my skin looks after and how fast the hair grows back. it is important that you exfoliate before using or you will have little success. Worst use of money.

Good Product to use During Hospital Stay
When my sister was in the hospital after suffering a stroke,she asked me to shave her legs. Rather than using a razor or depilatory, I tried this product. My sister has very coarse hair on her legs, but this product worked wonderfully. I was also able to remove her underarm hair as well without any problem. A well earned 1/10.
Just would not work. Even on the lightest possible hair. The only good thing I can say about it is that it really does feel smooth, if useless. Years ago I used a similar product that was straight up coarse sandpaper! Not so hot...

Not a bad product
The problem with this product is that the manufacturers do not give you complete info on using this product. YOU MUST use it consistently after a FIRST shave. The product will not work if the hair is too long on the legs - YOU MUST keep up the use (back and forth motion every few days) because if the hair gets too long the product will not work. CONSISTENCY works great! I can use it every few days while watching a favorite tv show and I'm done in just a few minutes - no water - no mess. smooth away hair removal does the job!
I have been using smooth away for months now. I will grant you one thing, this product is best to use between shaving. But I will say that it really does remove the hair and leaves your legs feeling smooth and creamy soft! The pads only last for one or two uses, depending on how much hair you have on your legs. I really like it though because, if I'm in a hurry and forgot to shave my legs of just don't have time I can whip this product out and, while I'm watching the news or in between other things I have to get done or are otherwise being idle, I can rub, rub, rub the hair away without paying attention to what I'm doing. I just have to run my hand over the skin to detect any missed spots and go back to watching TV, drinking my coffee with one hand while using this product with the other. It's GREAT!
