    It works.

My nose is crazy oily. Like, pathologically oily. (Confession: I occasionally use tape to remove excess oil.) De-Slick, however, applied every two or three hours (although someone less oily could go longer), coupled with Clinique Pore Minimizing Instant Perfector, which I apply before foundation, is the best product I've tried. It works much better than blotting papers, in my opinion. I purchase ...read moreit when the UD website has its 30% friends and family sale, so the price is a bit more palatable. I love the packaging--the compact is beautiful, comes in my favorite color, and best of all, is made of lucite (apparently), and so doesn't get all dinged up inside my purse like other cosmetics do. I wish the compact were refillable; the powder would be so much more cost-effective. To apply, I prefer to use a small kabuki brush than the applicator included, and I make sure to brush the excess powder away. I hope this review helped!

    Grossly overpriced

The compact is pretty, but charging $30 for this blot powder is pretty ridiculous. It works all right, but isn't the best powder I've tried and the lavender powder doesn't work well with darker skintones (though I'm pale so that's not really a problem). This doesn't work any better than a $5 pack of blotting papers and you can get similar products for much less.

    love it!

This is a wonderful product. I use it for quick touchups while living in humid florida. Its does goes on a little bit white, so use as little as possible and that is a good thing because it is a little pricey. The compact is also gorgeous.

    Sucks!

Sorry, I really just use the mirror of the product for touch-ups- This leaves a white, chalky-cast on my face. Doesn't control ANY oil- yes it takes away shine, but maybe for a couple of minutes. Doesn't last long. Just use Cosmedicine's Medi-Matte Spray (this works way better) and you don't have to cake your face with powder.

    AMAZING!

I love this compact. It's so light and easy to carry around in your purse. You just blot away any shine you have. You don't even see the lavender color because it flatters skin tone so well.

    Wonderful!

I love this compact....the powder really helps on the shine and its invisible...so I can reapply to oily areas if I need to w/out disturbing my makeup. It lasts a long time too!
