Lorac makes the perfect eyeshadow

It's so easy to apply Lorac shadows because they go on so smoothly and effortlessly. You can use them wet or dry depending on how intense you want your look to be. There's a slight sheen to these shadows so it looks 3-dimensional and absolutely gorgeous. These trio palettes are quite large so they'll last for a very long time. No primer needed

This highly pigmented shadow is very shimmery and finely milled. It never flakes, and it goes on so smoothly. You don't need primer for this because this sticks to your skin well, and is dark enough to show true colors. The three colors are coordinated really well, you can wear all colors at once. Shimmer!

These shadows are long on both color and shimmer. But the shimmer doesn't mean they can't be worn during the day if done right! There are three shades--I use all three (usually using the darkest as a liner) for going out at night, but I might choose just the medium tone with a different base for a day look. I love using these colors for a plum smoky eye look and the color lasts all night even without primer (even on my greasy lids!). Too shimmery, not pigmented enough

I normally LOVE Lorac's shadows; they are seriously some of the best in the industry. But...not a huge fan of the starry baked ones. I have the kit in the bronze shades and they really are too shimmery (the shimmer gets all over the compact and all over you) and it is hard to pick up pigment with your makeup brush, then doesn't have much of a strong color payoff like their other eyeshadows do. Their other shadows are definitely worth the money, but this one not so much. — 1 year, 2 months ago

I actually bought this by accident. I went to Sephora getting other products and ended up talking to a consultant about blue eye shadow and how I loved blue because it looked great with my greenish blueish eyes. I told him I just didn't know what color or how to use it. He took me over to Lorac and chose a smokey blue. I think it's called Midnight Star.. He used a smashbox eye shadow primer first, and then scraped the eye shadow to get it on a sponge tip brush, then dipped his eye shadow brush in it. He said it only took a little bit for my eyes, and my eyes are a little bit bigger than normal. It looked AMAZING! When he told me I looked like a rockstar, he had it sold! I am still trying to achieve that look. It stays on all day and doesn't lose its color. The price wasn't too bad for three different shades. There is a lot of eye shadow there, too. I'm sure it will be perfect once I figure out how he made it look awesome with only one color. — 1 year, 9 months ago
