Great for Daytime
I had been looking for a serum with antioxidants in it to use under my moisturizer during the day. I love serums but find that they can be a bit greasy, take too long to absorb, or leave a tacky feeling on my skin which makes it very hard to use them during the day. I had heard about this product through Birchbox and was lucky to receive a deluxe sample of this through another beauty website. This treatment is a gel consistency that easily spreads over my face and absorbs almost instantly. I love the dispenser on this...one pump is the perfect amount for my whole face. Since this absorbs so nicely into my skin, I can apply my regular moisturizer with SPF right after and then apply whatever makeup I am going to wear. This works amazingly well under my moisturizer and my foundation. I am so thankful for this after trying several treatments that just don't work with other products. This feels really nice on my skin but I don't notice any "instant" effects. This product, combined with my whole skincare routine, has helped the appearance of my pores, but I don't think that this alone (or any one serum on its own) will work wonders. This has not broken me out and I do trust that by using this everyday, I am investing in the future of my skin. This contains vitamin E and hyaluronic acid in it which are great for treating and moisturizing the skin. This does contain fragrance so beware if you have sensitivity. It doesn't cause any irritation for me and actually smells quite nice, but the smell is a bit strong and I'd prefer there be no fragrance in any of my skincare products. There are a few other serum-type daytime treatments I want to look into before I commit, but this one is the best one I have tried for wearing under other products. Does not play well with others!
This did instantly hide pores, but you can't use it with a moisturizer or makeup. I tried it before and after applying moisturizer and either way it pilled/balled up and left gross little balls of silicone on my face. when i tried it on it's own as a moisturizer it disappointed again, did not even moisturize my oily skin, made it look dry actually. My powder makeup just sits on top of this, looking dry and fake. I don't get how you're supposed to use this cr@p. I suppose if you're a male and just use it on your nose? just nice not wonderful
I am a big fan of DDF products but this one kind of disappointed me. It didnot cause any breakouts on my very sensitive acne prone 40 year old dry skin but I din not see too much improvement either. It is definetely a very nice makeup base, you sure don't need a primer before makeup. If you have oily skin, I suggest using this without moisturizer and a primer cause it can make turn you to disco ball in a few hours. Make-up stays nice over it. I have been using a 7 ml tester so it is not fair to talk about its effectiveness on wrinkles. interesting.
While I love DDF products, this one has been sitting in my bathroom not getting much use. I found it difficult to use underneath makeup, as it leaves a thick layer that might work for some as a primer. Just wait 10 minutes before applying makeup so it has time to set. I didn't really notice my pores getting any smaller. LOVE IT!
this stuff is FABOO. It may seem expensive, but one bottle has lasted me 6 months with no end in sight, I'll easily get a year out of it, so when you break that down it's really not so pricey after all. After about a month of use, you see your pores are shrunken and your skin is smooth and clear with wrinkles minimized and the an overall glow to your skin. Immediate benefits are the temporary pore shrinking, the non greasy but skin plumping hydration and a smoothness to your skin that makes makeup go on flawlessly. If you don't have particularly oily skin, you can forgo the separate moisturizer all together, thus making this again not nearly as pricey as it seems. Wonderful product
I got this as a free sample. A few months after I got it I found it in a drawer and decided to try it. I use it at night because it leaves a little bit of a layer on your skin and I don't want my makeup to slide off. When I woke up the 1st morning my skin was sooo smooth...the next morning it was even better. I have been using it now for a month and my skin looks and feels so much better. After I used up the sample I purchased the full size. It is a little expensive for me, but it is well worth it. I can't find a similar product that will do the same things as this one. I also have big pores on my nose and they have gotten smaller. My pores are not as visible as they once were. My skin feels as soft as a babies butt!!! Wonderful Product

it does immediately minimize pores
This is great as a makeup primer as it instantly makes your skin ultra-smooth with a sort of artificial, silicone-like feel. But other than that, I was not hugely impressed. I used it as a night-time treatment, but it really did not feel that moisturizing, my skin just felt smooth but not supple, and it did not seem to really reduce wrinkles.
