This $8 base coat is definitely worth your money. It dries fast and protects your nails from the harsh nail polish chemicals. I did get a little discoloring on one or two nails, but I paint my nails once--sometimes twice-- a week, so it's understandable. I've gone through a number of base coats and so far this one is the best. Even my boyfriend noticed how healthy my naked nails looked (go figure...read more). My nails are very hard and brittle so I always need something to moisturize them. I picked this one off the shelf at CVS because it was on sale for around $6.
