Great shampoo
I love trying new shampoo and conditioner, and this one is a keeper. First I was intimidated by the blue color shampoo, but this makes my hair softer and less frizzy. Great until I highlited my hair....
I have always loved Pantene and this shampoo was just great. My hair has always ben color treated with an all over color. Recently I decided to add some caramel highlites to my head and after, the shampoo left my hair tangly and difficult to manage. If you have normal hair that is not color treated, this would probably work great! It would probably even work well with colored hair, but if you are bleaching or highlighting your hair you may want to go with a product that offers more moisture/protection for your hair. Great buy for a drug store shampoo.
it's tough to review shampoos because i think the magic happens with the conditioner but i switched to this when i ran out of my matrix sleek looks shampoo because i had half a bottle left under the sink, and my hair started feeling like i just got it cut again, sleek, soft, flowing and smooth. Very nice
This shampoo kept my hair in good condition without weighing it down (I have fine, straight, highlighted hair with very dry ends). I don't know about the whole "allows you to grow your hair longer" promise, but with daily blow-drying and heat styling, I didn't notice any new breakage. Great Conditioner on a Budget
I have long, thick, coarse, curly and slightly dry hair that I regularly straighten. I usually switch up my conditioners every 3 months or so - as should be done - and usually rotate the same 3 or 4 products, trying new ones every once in awhile, and using both drugstore and high-end brands. I am VERY picky with my conditioners and usually don't give them more than 2 uses to see results. My main goal for conditioner is to hydrate my hair, make it shiny and smooth, de-frizz it as much as possible and NOT have that "build up" weighed-down kind of feeling that you sometimes get with conditioners for coarse thick hair like mine. Being that my hair is now really long, and I've usually had success with Pantene, I picked this product up when I saw it. It achieved everything I wanted - great shine, smooth, no frizz and very clean-feeling; like all pantene products, it smells great, and you really can't beat the price. It is comparable to Sebastian Drench, which I have in my regular rotation, for 1/3 of the price. If you have long, coarse, dry hair like mine I definitely reccomend trying this product out. I achieved all the results in once use and they last for several days, as I only wash my hair 2-3 times per week (it's way too dry to wash any more than that, plus it's a giant pain in the ass to spend over an hour straightening my hair more than that). It also made my hair a little easier to straighten as well, since it smooths it out. the only pantene I like....
Once a year I usually buy Pantene products even though they are not good for my hair...sure it leaves it shiny but I don't have a lot of hair and pantene just makes it flat and it seems a lot of my hair falls out. Regardless if they come out with a new product sometime I try it. I think it's lame that the New Beautiful Lengths line used to be there Resoratives line....gotta love marketing! Anyway I've been using the Breakage Defense shampoo and conditioner and both are pretty good. What's weird is that in the first week alone I have gotten three compliments from people that my hair is getting long. I'm definitely not saying that this product has someone how magically made my hair longer over the past week but something about it causes people to notice. Maybe it's smoother causing it so look longer...who knows. Works wonderful for less
I expect a shampoo of this quality to cost quite a deal more. Don't let it be said that mass market and drugstore lines aren't some of the best products out there, because Pantene never disappoints.
