I purchased the new version that comes without shimmer but the smell made me so sick to my stomach that I cannot review the effectiveness in how it moisturizes. The smell reminds me of "POISON" perfume that was so popular when I went to school and I couldn't stomach it then. I've never liked Olay products as I find the quality to be poor and the price to be high. Anyways I hated this moisturizer if you can even call it that. My skin felt yucky and oily and it gave me terrible body acne which I've never had before. The first time I used this I really liked it. As I kept using it, I felt like I was needing to use more lotion than I really wanted to. I didn't like the fragrance and ultimately, I stopped using it. It did nothing for my skin and allergies to fragrance (even the "light" fragrance was causing water induced eyes).
